Hello everybody- hugs to those that are feeling depressed in this dreary weather.
Had an enjoyable hour at the local shops today, needed bread, milk and hair conditioner, but bought few stocking fillers for Christmas and stocked up on birthday cards.
Spent just under £10 on groceries so have updated sig. Not much left til the end of the month but I'm intending to be super careful not to go over, we'll see:p .
August always an expensive month for me since I'm off work and therefore have access to shops:rotfl: .
Won't post totals for the month until the weekend.
2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.
    MFW OPd 2014 £2000 2013 £9700 2012 £2848.39 2011 £2509.58 2010 £11000 2009 £112002008 £4939 :D

*BigBird* - Happy Birthday for today, hope you had a great time.:D

Herewegoagain - sorry to hear of your loss. (((((HUGS)))))

annelouise - Good Luck with the move and the Job Interview.

Have updated my totals so declaring £156.34 for August, just £4.66 under but every little helps. Please put me down for £250 for September. Sorry can't remember who said they are doing September, so hope angelnikki & MRSMC see this and a big thanks for keeping us on the straight and narrow.;) I am reverting back to this original total now that Hols are out of the way and also I know that I will need extra this month to start my Xmas baking.

Today I have made HM Bread and Rolls, had Lamb Chops, Potato Wedges, Carrots & cabbage for dinner and made an Eve's Pudding for after. Really love Eve's Pud as my Nana used to make it for us so reminds me of her. Also, family are getting fed up of Crumbles but the apples are dropping off the tree faster than I can cook them. Gave some to a friend over the weekend and then I have cored, peeled and sliced some more and stashed in the freezer.

Also made a list of everything we have in the Freezers, does anyone else find that they end up with more in there at the end of the month than they started with. Shall go now and try to put together a Meal Plan for the next week using what's in the Freezer but shall have to go to the Shops tomorrow with my shiny new Budget as I need Bread Flour, Plain Flour, F&V, Milk etc.

    Have a good evening everyone.:D

    Scotsaver...

oooohhhh YES... as fast as i take things out of the freezer -I put more back in :p :rotfl: ... I took some whoopsed organic tortelinni and a pouch of whoopsed organic ariabatta sauce oh and a pack of whoopsed mozarella (there is a theme there:D ) out of the freezer yesterday to do for dinner tonight in an attempt to free some space up and then ended up making a big pan of cheese sauce (with milk that wasn't going to get used in time) -so for dinner i did the tortolinni, mixed in the sauce and some frozen peas -(and a bit of chorizo in hubbies) then put a layer of the sauce on top and baked it -it was lovely and worked out costing about 80p each :T and ended up putting 4 tubs of cheese sauce back in the freezer :rotfl: -still it makes it really quick n easy to do lasagnes etc ;)

Hopefully my Remoska will be here this week -so that should save on teh fuel bills -can't wait to play :p ..... belly pork n hm stuffing is 1st on the list :D

Right..back off to see about ordering my pulses on line :D
    have a great night all

You know it could have been lots of people buying them. And the good thing about that is that supermarkets work on supply and demand, they will realise that they are selling well and will need to order more in more frequently. And like you worked out, you can make it cheaper yourself without the additives so chin up :)
