Have a great day IOIWE.
I've read the thread and completely forgot who said what, I swear I have lost more braincells each time I've given birth. I've done it three times and really have lost the plot!!!!!
How organised am I?!? I had a potato bake all prepared by 8.30am, that is tonights dinner sorted. I've still not updated my sig from my weekly shop. All I have spent is what I got in Asda and £1 for 3 corn on the cobs from the market. I think I might buy more of these to freeze while they are cheap as the children love them. I refuse to buy them when they are £2 for 2.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
Morning everyone
Have only skimmed through the the thread this week, but hugs to everyone who needs them (especially the people who've lost cats, one of mine was killed last Saturday night).
Spent £13.89 in mrT last night, so should be able to come in on (reduced) budget this month - one shop left to do.
Have a good weekend.Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain ...0 -

I already have a COOP £3 off £20 TS which Tesco will accept, plus a £2 clubcard voucher and some other 25p off £1 vouchers which I will use so if this is not any better I won't get it, although if it lasts longer or is better I might.
Be back later for the proper morning post

sorry if I caused some confusion - it's not the Now magazine but the news of the world from this past Sunday which had a moc for £5 off £30 at Mr T.

I think you'll find that NOW means "News of the World" as in the Sunday newspaper...as yet I don't know if they will be doing another coupon this Sunday but it's always worth a look over on the Discounts & Vouchers board for what coupons are available in various mags & stuff...HTH
To the peeps who are moving in to their first homes, I think my advice would be to start collecting store cupboard basics now so you have those in place when the budget has to go on the bigger stuff. Herbs..spices..salt..pepper..vinegar..tomato, brown & soy sauces..loo roll..cleaning cloths..STARDROPS;) ..washing powder..loo cleaner..washing up liquid..tinned stuff like beans, tomato puree, soup etc..light bulbs..cereals, porridge oats etc [& golden syrup for flapjacks & twinks:p ]..baking powder, bicarbonate of soda & white vinegar..olive oil..mayo..tea bags & coffee..sugar..dried fruit..rice..pasta.. lentils..couscous..& of course assorted equipment such as cake cases, serving spoons, & various sizes of baking tins..& DON'T FORGET THE TIN OPENER
May I suggest investing in a good set of knives--particularly for carving & paring--to help making things like tomato & cue especially, go that bit further.
Right! I'm off to get me wedding hat on & virtual confetti in readiness for the GC Nuptuals:jFull time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

I'm hoping they do another voucher this week as I really need to go Sunday/Monday, as I go with DD and she is usually at work till 5, and DGD is too tired to go shopping after a day at nursery - I'd sooner spend a fiver than go shopping with her in that mood  Though I must remember to walk down to the papershop in the morning rather than wait to buy it in Tesco as the shelves were empty last time I did that.0

Just popped in to update spends, went to MR T to mae use of the NOTW voucher and split the shop between us and my mum.
Total spend £15.64
Hope you have a great day IOIWE'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle'0
