Turbo5019 - think it was you who was asking about HM Sausage Rolls, when I make mine I make up a packet of Sage & Onion stuffing and add that to the Sausagemeat which bulks it out to make more Sausage Rolls and also makes them taste even nicer.
PS. Almost forgot to ask - I have a Blackcurrant bush in the Garden which has fruit on it for the first time, I looked up on the Internet and thought they should be ready to pick in July but everytime I cut one open it's still green inside - any ideas anyone - never bought them from a shop before - only ever had them in a Ribena so not sure what they should look like and too scared to taste one!!:o
I was at a MrS cookery demo recently and sausage rolls were made with equal quantities of chestnut puree(tinned),they tasted good
If the blackcurrants are big and juicy just use them ,they do stay green inside.Crumbles,jam,pies,smoothies- yummy.Or freeze for later.
I have a friend who tops and tails them:rotfl:

Wahey had a good whoopsie hunt this evening in asda Popped in to pick up DS 3rd birthday present(couldn't put it into the trolley this morning as he asks too many questions) and glanced at reduced section and found
4 packs of 4 haddock fishcakes reduced from £1.78 to 30p
1 pack sausages reduced from £1.10 to 10p
2 packs mini scotch eggs from £1.08 to 10p
Quite pleased with myself so had to rejig freezer to accomodate them. Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

Ooh! Thanks for that! I have a tin of chestnut puree that I got in Asda that was reduced to 10p and was wondering what to do with it! Sausage and chestnut rolls sound delish!

But I have just gone to make some yoghurt and noticed we don't have any UHT!!! So can I make it with normal milk???Anyone here know that?
I made yoghurt with ordinary semiskimmed, but scalded it first to get rid of any lurking nasties which would have grown with the yoghurt culture. It worked a treat and set quite firmly. Give it a whirl.
Good luck
