Hello all. I haven't joined a grocery challenge before but think i will attempt it for august. I will set my budget at £200 for 4 of us for 1st til 31st August.

Pie? Blueberry pie and ice cream is yummy, can also make jam with them and use them as a topping for cheescake.

Not written down, I make it like apple pie substituting blueberries for apples but use a bit of arrowroot (cornflour if you don't have arrowroot) to thicken the blueberries as the pie filling can be a bit sloshy otherwise (blueberries give off loads of juice), I always add a little cinnamon to mine as well yum, yum, yum! I've found a basic Blueberry Pie recipe online, but when I was just looking I found a recipe for Blueberry Crumble Cake it sounds yummy, so when I get some whoopsied blueberries next time I'll give it a try

Well I am in a good mood today cos its my birthday (am not listed at the bottom as don't think I put my DOB in!) .
NSD today grocery wise although think hubby might take me out for lunch or something else by way of pressie.
Waiting in for the post as mum has sent me a pressie
Dinner is tacos, using mince we had already cooked and some peppers and taco shells (obviously lol). Meals this an next week are basically using up a lot of freezer stuff only buying a few bits, (and will hopefully manage to stock back up on meat later in the month if/when we see whoopsies, or maybe a butchers trip one week when we don't need much else and can spend most of that weeks money on meat).
Might also bake some blueberry muffins as have blueberries in the fridge.
Have a lovely day everyone, mist here again, so washing will have to be hung indoors (no heaters on so it won't really dry )
