denisefowler wrote: »Hi Guy's,
Have been a very naughty girl today as really not feeling well (keep getting out of breath and am sooooo tired).
Am taking Iron tablets to help with energy levels but just had enough of feeling so worn out all the time - may take a trip to docs tomorrow to see if they can help. Kaat_Lady Thanks for the up on the prescription stuff, but as I only get through 1 or 2 at most a month it doesn't work out cheaper for me - it's just if I'm not well and have to get lots all at once it's a pain. Anyway, back on track...
Sorry, I know this isn't GC but thought I'd just check to see if you're OK. I suffer from anemia and have to take iron every day. I use Spatone which is usually on offer in Boots for 3 for 2 and costs about £10 for all 3 boxes. Each box contains 28 days worth of liquid iron which you put into your orange juice. I find this much better than iron tablets. You can't get in on prescription though - well you can't here. I also find drinking glucose drinks helps with energy levels.
Sorry, I know it's chat but this thread is soo friendly and people are so good at offering advice.
On a more GC theme I'm growing my own vegetables. I have tomatoes, cucumber, courgettes, peas and aubergines. They're just starting to fruit. :T'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Hey, add me in for 80 for this month. This will be my first grocery challenge here, I am trying to cut back further and doing a massive cupboard clearout, but put down that much for now. :j I won't call myself a newbie though, I have been frugal for a few years now, just only recently discovered (and fell for) this board lol...:o
Have to go and make a choc cake soon...this board just makes me hungry!!
Good luck everyone..."Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without!!"Nov NSD: ?/30 Nov Make 10 Day ?/300Get Rid Of Debt: ?/2000 !! :mad:0 -

Right, have checked the freezer, fridge and cupboards to update my lists, have done my meal plan and am now double checking shopping list - busy morning so far. :A
I've also ordered my PPC online (thank you to Kaat_Lady & Nikki) - £27.85 and will at least be able to reclaim todays and tomorrows scripts (Friday's £7.10 is too late, why didn't I listen to Kaat_Lady earlier! )
I am buzzing this morning :j - god knows why as I didn't go to bed till 1am and I was up at 5am - think coz I slept like a log for the first time in ages last night, so 4 hours solid sleep has been better than long layins not sleeping IYKWIM...
I'm just about to jump in shower then on with remaining stuff - lets see how long this lasts...will update later when back from Icelands on any bargains... Have a good day, seems cooler here at the moment, thank god!
Sory to hear you are still no well,, and for fridays prescription,, if you had backdated your PPC it would have included fridays 'script'...glad I could be of some help,, but take care of yourself and get well soon
