All these comments are so true!! Heres to being single and loving every minute of it xxxxx

    Hear Hear

Almost forgot to say, that the tesco clubcard vouchers that I had been saving up to go away on holiday, got blown last week. Spent over a grand on jewellery - got a lovely gucci watch and a few necklaces from goldsmiths.
    :T :T :T
Just waiting on this quarters vouchers to come through and I'm gonna treat myself to the biggest diamond ring I can afford, seeing how I don't have an engagement ring anymore!
    :T :T :T
Now that's what I call retail therapy - and the best bit about is, it's FREE!! (Well sort of, if you know what I mean)!!

Wouldn't have been able to do that if we were still together.

    XX

 You go Dolly...you're getting the hang of it now!!!!! Of course you will have your down moments (that's when the getting pished and dancing to Celine Deon comes in...or if you REALLY want to torture yourself then Phil Collins 'Against All Odds' works a treat for me!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: )

I'm a single Mum to a 6 year old now but I remember in the days before I had her and split from a guy there were upsides. First off you usually lost loads of weight (bonus!!) and then the benders started with your mates!!! so you could all talk about what a complete w*anker he was anyway (no matter whose fault the split was!!)...and then of course, when you are ready, there is the cleansing shag. The man you need to pull to finally admit it's all over and you still have it!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Of course this is all light hearted...I know you're having a pants time but I do hope I am putting a smile on your face :)

Been single now for 2 years so am now open (okay then, verging on desperate) for offers!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Keep your chin up sweetie :D

Bless...all the same rules apply to you, you know....except you now have no one moaning AT you to put the toilet seat down:rotfl: :rotfl:

My major joy on being single (albeit with 3 kids!) is having peace of mind (no lies, excuses, mind games) and not having a man the size of a small elephant snoring next to me all night and almost bouncing me out of bed as he rolls over as he's twice my weight!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • Oh this has made me laugh:rotfl:
Ok already done the weight loss
    No benders ..............yet
And as for cleansing shag:eek: :rotfl:

Glad you had a good blowout with the Tesco points:D
Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Married my best friend 15/4/16 :)

You generally find the benders and shag go together;) ...and then next morning you get to do 'the walk of shame' back to your house in last night's clothes!!!! Lovely!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :D
  • Don't think I'll be rushing to do any cleansing, in the near future :rotfl:

Oh my!!! The last few posts have had me in stitches.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Just the tonic I needed.

Think the "cleansing" will have to wait tho!

The thing that amazes me is the amount of people that are going through similar circumstances. It kinda makes me feel better, knowing that I'm not alone.:p

Lets keep the advantages of singledom coming, and Needofhelp, feel free to post the advantages of singlehood for you, would be interesting to hear a man's perspective! Hope your doing ok?

At the risk of being branded a traitor to my sisters, I imagine it must be very hard for fellas as women can usually turn to their friends and in my experience, men aren't very good at supporting other men!

breaking up is crap for everyone. Hope needofhelp is OK.

I agree, I'm fairly confident that my ex OH didnt talk to anyone before he decided to call it quits on our relationship and I'm pretty sure he ain't talking to anyone now. However needofhelp has taken the first step by posting on here, and is going to relate. Got my fingers crossed for you needofhelp.
