Hi All I have spent the last 4 hours reading this thread and just have to say what a strong loving bunch you all are hope you all get what you want (nay deserve) and its great to see the support you have given each other ,My husband left me about 2 months ago for a younger woman we have been married for 25 years I had no idea he was carrying on thought we were happy the afternoon before he left we were trying to decide where to go on holiday ,what an idiot I am anyway he has gone now and I am trying to rebuild my life we have 2 children son has left home and a daughter at uni so I am a free woman and determined to make the most of it he is now saddled with the local bike and her young kids lol and is the laughing stock of the town (im lovin it)at first was devastated as I really thought we would grow old together ,but now I realise Im better off on my own BTW he cheated on me when the children were young 12 and 6 and I took him back for the sake of the kids wish I hadnt coz then I was so much younger like you kizzy and sfh and gert and would have probably met someone else to share my life with so what Im trying to say is (im carp at posting) get on with your lives and enjoy the time with your kids dont sit waiting for him as he will probably do it again not trying to be negative just honest

Excellent post justme!
You are an inspiration!
Stick around as I'm sure having gone through this yourself you can really empathise with the others on this thread who are still feeling very 'raw'
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
