Feel a bit down today, kids keep arguing, not looking forward to going around my dad's he'll probably upset me by making some stupid remark!
It's also got to the stage where, I really have no alternative but to move on with my life, so haven't even got the dream that my life will ever be the same again.
Some days that's exciting, others it's scary, just feel really fed up that I've got nothing to look forward to, all the time he was away, I could never plan anything as his weekends off used to chop & change so much, it feels the same now. I suppose when this divorce is out of the way I may be able to.
Gert, I think it's time to take some power back - make him see it might not be HIS decision to make after all.

Its not the same but my ex and I, we dated on and off for four years, some times friends and sometimes gf and bf. THere was a lot of other stuff going on and I was ok with it more or less. Until last July when we had a brilliant time and I asked him to think about us being together properly.
any how he didn't want that. We had called it off a few times over the years, but he always stayed in touch and it was fine.
this time he hasn't - at my request, I need to get over him and stop thinking he is the only one. I really do still wake up most mornings and think I love him which is a bit pathetic.
And now I have no hope of the life i so frequently hung on to when things were bad(we had so many plans and ideas). It does feel like a clean slate, I have had a clear out and sort out and I am trying very hard to focus on the debts and the weight so that by Christmas I am feeling much better.
But like you say Kizz, some days its a real drag and it feels wrong. That is why I have so much admiration for you and how you haven't been driven crazy by it all - like he clearly has. And today think about what a good night oyu had and how many friends you have and how he is now displaying some sad loser traits that you had never seen before and his sister doesn't want him (I find that very funny sorry!)
I really hope your Dad doesn't say anything tactless. he might suprise you.
here's hoping

Don`t know if any of you read. But I can recommend a book called "I got you back" by Jane Fallon and also "getting rid of Matthew" by the same author. I got you back is about a woman who finds out her husband is having an affair and what she does about it and the other is about what a mistress does wants she gets someone elses husband. I found them both a good read but if you feeling a bit fragile then maybe it would be better to read I got you back first.0

Hi Kizz.....you need to be very careful...for your husband to loose his temper like this in front of other people...shows a high degree of tension and a even stronger lack of disrespect for you...its a very dangerous situation...be sassy...dont meet him alone anymore....
Gert....of course you will be confused..you are full of conflicting and raw emotions...cut your self some slack you are still doing well....only you can know how it all helps....children in all situations will be very upset and confused...is dad here or not...? will not stop for a while until things are in routine..proper contact.....
sfb...well done for not calling..!!! he needs to stew...much much longer.....
have a good day....all oof you...You have the right to remain silent.Anything you do say will be misquoted and then used against you
Knowledge will give you power, but character respect.

Hello luvvies!
Kizzy - Glad you had a great time on Friday - sounds a blast!! But I'm sorry that DFS decided to have a pop at you outside the school. I had this type of behaviour a few times from my ex, both in public and in private... with the finger poking (mostly in my shoulder) and the shouting and swearing and once he even physically tried to throw me out of the house in front of our DD - she remembers him dragging me off the sofa it to this day (which saddens me greatly), he headbutted our airing cupboard door leaving a hole in it, he kicked a shoe against our front door so hard it smashed the glass... he was an angry man!!
I tried to get him to see a doctor when we were together, making appointments for councelling but he never showed up to them... after we split up, he was diagnosed as being a manic depressive and will be on medication for evermore (he calls them happy pills)
You just can't fix some people0
