I agree with Gert about SFH's DS going to councilling, he really needs somewhere to vent, without taking it out on you:o
Going out next saturday, same club actually, I did enjoy myself, don't really think I could do this every week though, It's a bit full on for me, I'm a bit more sedate in my old age - usually!!

I also agree - a counsellor is a good step. I, myself, went to a child psychologist when I was about 8, as I had an asthma-type condition that was seemingly being caused because I couldn't express anger very well. Long story short - I was encouraged to play with a farm set and only when I let the bull go in beside the cows (!) did i start to get better!!:T My asthma disappeared virtually overnight! Looking back, it's obvious that I was bottling things up and bringing on these attacks from suppressed feelings - hence not ever placing the bull beside the cows in the set. Once I was encouraged to do this and it was ok, I started to get better. Weird eh? Anyway, this sort of thing works sfh, so try it. It may save your ds a lot of problems later.

Kizzy - what a t w a t your DFS is!! You seriously need to get to a solicitor - it sounds as if the moose is maybe starting to work him from the back already if he has been to one himself. despite all these assurances he's been giving you.
I agree ith the others too -you're doing too well for him. Glamming up and out on the town - he's not liking that!! Idiot - you're seeing a side that's not nice and the positive thing in this is you'll never want him back.

Jules - you're doing soooo well. Good riddance . And the moose looks like a stupid hag with her simpering smile! You're well rid.

Keep up the good work girls, proud of you. (())

Hey ladies, just had to say hi, I've been following your stories and think you're all doing really well.

I've never been in your situation but I am essentially a single mum, OH and I don't live together (long story!!) so I spend a few evenings/nights alone.

Kizzy - re babysitting, some friends and I have a voucher system, so if we want one of them to babysit it costs 1 voucher, to get 1 back, I have to babysit for one of them, it works quite well. If you're in the Southampton area, I could help out?

It will get easier for you all, I've seen friends go through it and come out the other side, but for now, take what you need from those around you... if that's wine & chocolates, then fab!! If it's plotting revenge.... even better!! lol laughing-smiley-014.gif

  • DFS just rang to see what time to come tomorrow, he's coming in the afternoon, he said bye then, I said do you want to speak to them then? & he said I didn't know I could! I'm just so frustrated I told him he could, we also arranged that he ring at 5pm every other day, so why can't he ever remember anything - this is where all the mixup at the school came about.
We had a nice chat about what the kids got up to last night & then he said see you tomorrow at 2 then, " love you " hahahahahah:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I said pardon? he said, I said see you tomorrow, so I just went oh, ok then see you!!
He must've not realised he said it! did make me laugh though

Hi Kizzy whether it was a slip of the tongue or a manipulation tactic leave him to it! Wondering will make you ill again and could build your hopes. You told him the other night he could ask you back along the line if he wanted to and until he does exactly that don't bother second guessing any of his actions because at the moment he is not balanced enough to trust any of his actions/thoughts/tactics.

Not that you were second guessing I am just saying the above in case ;-)
