Marriage over don't know where to start

Just spent a while catching up on the thread, and basically just want to put my pennys worth in about Chip.

It seems that when Chip is giving advice if its not what people want to hear, everyone turns into a man hating typist!

When me and OH seperated last year, I went on another forum, (parent centre), which covers all problems that families may come across.

The split between male/female posters is about 50/50, and it was fantastic to have male advice on how the male mind works!

As you all know me and OH got back together and are now solid.

So please be nice to Chip he seems to be fighting the male corner practically on his own and trust me, it really is great to get info on how men tick.

I understand what you're saying here and Chip really does talk a lot of sense, it's obvious he's been through something similar in the past - and come out of the other side.
But, I think Chip does sometimes come across as a bit frustrated when the ladies involved do something that we all know is wrong for them (like ringing their prospective OHs or wanting to give them a second chance when they patently don't deserve it).
But, it's still very new and raw to Kizzy, SFH, Gert, Jules et al and it's damn hard (if not bloody impossible) to behave rationally at all times.
I'm sure the ladies appreciate the man's viewpoint and I, for one, wouldn't like Chip to stop posting because his comments and advice are not being taken at this moment in time.
I'm sure everybody will read back over this thread and say 'Why on earth didn't I listen to that guy Chip when he was telling me what was best for me' - but the truth is they're not at that stage yet.

Sorry to hear you've been ringing your OH and have told him you want him back.
Maybe this is a temporary blip and you'll feel even stronger in a short while.

I think he keeps asking you this because he likes to hear that you still want him - even though he's cheated on you and rejected you.
He's getting you to stroke his ego.
But, I'm sure that deep down you know that anyway.

The reason I have replied in such a response, is because you are implying that I am referring to Kizzy, Gert, SFH and Jules, and that is not true. Please re read and ensure all facts are correct before posting.

They are scum of the earth at the moment to us all hurting so bad! and when it is all so raw ,yes we may be a little tetchy.
We all have different views and at the moment maybe yes clutching at sraws and want our lives back though know that will no happen

I was AGREEING with you, for heaven's sake!
I was saying that Chip talks sense - just pointing out that some of the ladies aren't ready yet to listen to that sense!
And that Chip sometimes comes across in his posts as frustrated about that.

Anyone disagree with that?

If you actually take the time to read my post beore jumping on your high horse, you will notice that I haven't mentioned you at all, other than to address you by name!
All my comments are about Chip.

We thought we all had solid family lifes and how wrong we were,if there had been any doubt,niggle that it wasnt then maybe we could be taking this better,but there wasnt and I know for sure thats why I still cannot comprehend it.

We are here to support each other and if people do not like the fact that kizzy phoning hubbie,me feeling really down then yes they have there right to speak out,though please remember people we are hurting bad !!
