  • Hi been reading this thread and thought i post a 'blokey'thought...been meeting many people and reading many threads on here...also from my perspective...men are more often than not very cosy where they are...it is rare they would leave a partner especially when been in a longer relationship and where children are involved...if they have nowhere els/no-one else to go to...we are a lazy so and so...if a man behaves like this...will be a woman involved...also sorry dont feel quite ok to post this as i have not been posting ..also..you must really really stop with confusing the issue...there was a reality show on tv a few yeras ago...where the couple split up...but the guy came around every day to help with one thing or another...the psychologist then said ...need clear cut line or to move on will be much harder....

I am just often astounded how bad the guys can behave an d women forgive them....its awful..the guys do often get what they deserve....

I think u are alldonig very very well and it must be soooo hard to protect the children...good luck and strenthg to you all

I don't think I would kick him out of the bed and onto the sofa. If he has the damn cheek to go into what is now your bed - he chose to leave it - then kick him out of the house!! He may be paying the mortgage but he has a duty to supply his kids with a roof over their heads!

  • Thanks verysillyguy
I just think we love our men so much & realise, which they don't seem to, how much it affects the kids.
As you say & I'm not trying to be nasty, but men are lazy in relationships & probably mine can't be bothered to work on ours.
My sister said he was cheating, I didn't want to believe it - she said men don't fall out of love just like that - without feathering a new nest!!
Elise, sorry you had to go through so much to be in the place you are now.
I'm feeling really anti DFS tonight, I just am sick of hearing the same dodgy excuses for a man to go off & sh$g someone - it's pathetic

  • In a nut shell....there is no excuse...we are then only thinking of 'sex' not sure i would agree with what rikki i think said...i would think that it is more often the sex that starts a man having an affair the lust for the other woman, not the listening to his problems...well not if it is longer than a couple of hours.......I would let him sleep in the garage in the car...but not in your house.......not until he sorts his head out...no way !!!!!!!

he need to acknowledge the affair properly...tell you he is stopping...as a first step...sorry...but men mostly only understand the law of the jungle..u are too nice to him.....STOP IT !!!

opps.......dont mean it that loud.hardly know this thread yet...sorry...

  • Night everyone - try to have a good sleep those who are dealing with this carp!
I almost wish I'd heard about poor Denise earlier, it would've saved me from moping around about DFS all evening.
There are even more people on Denises thread which the same has happened to!
Whatever happened to trust, respect, loyalty & love ?
I'm so upset for these poor people that have done nothing to deserve this.
Cold Turkey will be permanant at this rate!

:cry: Had a really bad day. Couldn't recall feeling the baby move for the whole night and half the morning so went off to the Drs as worried sick that all the stress of the last week had harmed him! Broke down in the Drs, but thankfully she found a healthy heartbeat instantly, so broke down again!!
I thought I'd been doing quite well. I don't want him to stay - I just feel like a prat - why can't I get a relationship to work!
Even got annoyed with my mum tonight and bit her head off when she said she was annoyed that "he'd ruined my life!"
I wish he'd just leave now so I can get on with things. I've got to see my consultant on Monday to get an appointment for a C-Section.
Just want to have the baby and move on!
Still trying hard not to confront the witch who contributed to this!

The baby I'm having was conceived via IVF - and I bumped into the consultant's nurse in Tesco's tonight. I didn't have the nerve to tell her about what OH had done! She told me she's doing some midwifery now so might be at the birth - I might have to make up some crap excuse as to why he's not there as I'm not sure I can face explaining things then!!
