I think I'm off to bed, don't you dare cry missy, you have got to be that strong, desirable person he fell in love with originally.
I remember when me & DFS got together, I was not at all interested, i liked him, but that was it, just friends, so I suppose I was aloof & unobtainable, which is the way i'm going to be now.

Had a quick look :o What is up with these weak stupid idiots?
Look how many lives are being ruined - & it seems we all feel the same way like we've lost our best friend & the one we trusted most in the world.
This makes me so angry - definately going to keep the cold turkey going now!!! Grrrrrr:mad:

Try and scan through this thread (I know its long) and you will see the massive support you will get if you keep coming here. I am sorry you are feeling so dreadful today, over the last couple of days some of the girls who are going through the same as you have had some of their worst days too and through the support on here are feeling stronger.

  • Hi denise
was just off to bed when I saw the link re your idiot husband.
What can I say - words fail me.
The more of this I'm hearing, the more mad I'm getting.
I'm so sorry hunny I really am, because now you're going to go through all the crap we are.
But you've got all of us on here to support you as they have us & don't ever feel lonely as there is always someone on here, even if its the middle of the night, as you are bound to have trouble sleeping at first.
I haven't read your whole thread, I will but just wanted to let you know we'll all try & help you through this

hi all, i have been following this thread for weeks and weeks, and i must say so far you are all keeping your cool so much better than i did when i discovered my stb ex was sh@@&ing some tart from where he worked, kizzy very similar situation to you, was together from the age of 17 , so 18 years in all, and to be honest when i read page 1 of this thread i new he was at it, because the way you described his actions and behaviour was the exact same way my stb ex treated me,even down to some of the phrases he used, but in my case it went on for 2 years until i found out the truth, then i lost the plot and did some things that were really out of character for me, and omg they were bad things, but one thing i new straight away was that i was never going to let him near me again, i instantly loathed him the minute i caught him out. it's been 11 months now and our divorce is not yet finalised but i am trying to get on with my life. so good luck to you all, it's definetly a rollercoaster ride but i'm sure we will come out all the better and wiser for it. i reckon you are dealing with this so much better than i did, but although the things i did were pretty bad i do not regret it, he bloody deserved it.

How the hell did you cut him off like that?? You say you didn't deal with it well, but if I was dealing with it well, I'd have done the same as you & said on your bike ( literally ;) )
Also for the 2 years, was he still with you as normal?
My sisters ex carried on for 2 years, but was awful to her, she knew something was up.
I think I knew really, but couldn't believe it of him.
I'm so upset yet another poor woman has been hurt ( not saying it doesn't happen both ways, but not many men on this thread as I'm horrible to them:D - joke!! )
