Night SFH
decided against going to Alton Towers, though that may change! It's almost 4 hours drive from us & nearest cheap hotel is 38 miles away!
He said, don't worry looking tonight, we've still got time, but kids back at school Wednesday next week.
I think we should go to legoland & stop over & perhaps go to Windsor Castle too, it's not so far away & I love Windsor, could always go on the river too.
Will suggest this next time we speak.Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Night SFH
Kizzy does he have access to the internet at his sisters? If so let him take some responsibility for booking/choosing it, it will help him see things have changed and do him good to do something for you and the kids too.
Oh I bet the Moose won't like this, ha! or is he lying to her already (more ha!)
Good night I'm dragging myself off to bed too.
Hope you all sleep well with no weird dreams for a change.

He did have a quick look for hotels near alton towers, but I've just decided this might be better as nearly 4 hours in the car with our 2 will drive us mad, even though we have TV's to put in the car ( bought pre lightbulb & a godsend! ) wouldn't bode well for a good day out if they are arguing in the back!
It's weird he doesn't seem to care what the moose will think, where the children are concerned, I bet he just won't tell her??Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

I think SFH might be too far away somehow although she does get brownie points for being a footie fan and I could talk about Oor Wullie with her. I'm not sure where the other two of you live, maybe a PM from you would be better...:rolleyes:0 -
I'm down south Chip, mind you if I ever look at another man, feel free to put red hot pokers into my eyes:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Unless of course it's Antonio Banderas - then leave well alone;)Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

I want to send you my thoughts and love.
This last year or so has been extemely difficult for you and you have held yourself well and with dignity and you should be proud of the way you are coping.
i'm not sure i would have your strength.
Your husband/ex is being a pig. Do not have any sympathies for him. If he doesnt want to work things out then bully for him. you just be the best mum you can be and to hell with him. He is being a very selfish person to add this to your emotional load and deserves a good kick where it hurts.
You can if you want have a divorce where by soliciters are not involved at all. As long as you can both come to an agreement about the split of assetts aand money you can do it by yourselves though i must stress you put everything in writing and both sign it.
put in your claim now for tax credits and council tax benefits etc use entitled to to find out exactly what.
you can rent out a room in your house for £70 per week without having to pay tax on the income. if you charge more than you are liable for tax.
sit himdown out of the house and away from the kids and ask him if he really wants the split or could he put in one year to salvage the marriage (make a contract as to what you will do to save the relationship ie once a week we will go out together for time to yourselves, go back to dating, speak to family members and ask for help. they promised to help when they attended the wedding and so will be willing to help even if they just listen to you rage,) 21 years is a long time for him to just throw away. which is what HE is doing not you!!
i wish you all the luck with your future and i hope that you feel able to rage and vent and get angry and we will always be here for you if you ever want to talk to a real person then please pm me and i will give you my phone number i am a very good listener and will not tello anyone what you tell me.
youo are entitled to your feelings and you should own them and let them out.
love to you and your family in these dark times. but be assured the light will come
corny i know but i sometimes need a bit of corn to get me through.LBM apr 2008,£94,761  Mad Ebay challenge #71 £2000/£106.62DFD [STRIKE]DECEMBER 2024[/STRIKE] OCTOBER 20130 -
