Forgot to say please do not make excuses about not answering the text.

Did he ever apologise to you for ignoring you and the children?

And you cannot buy children's love so easily with cheap presents.

doubt he'll text again today, if/when he does tomorrow, I'll say it had run out of charge & if he rings, I'll let it go to answerphone & say we were out.
As far as I'm concerned it's over, he's been so cruel, he would have to beg me & be perfect & do everything I wanted him to, for me to take him back & even then I'd remind him on a daily basis, of what he's done to me & the kids.
No way would he come back to the "put it in a box & not mention it wife "
He's pushed me too far - oooo I sound really mean:p

No you sound like somebody in control of the situation and, under the circumstances being quite reasonable.
Even though I was all for you trying to save your marriage I am now in the camp of let him feel the loneliness and take his power away. Make it clear that while yes you love him you do NOT like him anymore and you will cope without him. Tell him that although he obviously loves the children he puts HIMSELF BEFORE them and for that reason you have to step up to the plate and protect them and cushion them from as much of this as possible. So let him have a lonely weekend and you fill yours with the kids, friends, family, chocolate, wine whatever it takes to get through it.

Hear! Hear!! KM could have read my mind!!

Kizzy, have you had a conversation with him recently about what all his pratting around is doing to the kids?? He needs to see that it isn't just him who is affected and understand why there now has to be a set routine.

Incidentally, isn't Keeping Motivated very good at keeping people motivated?!?!:rotfl:

Been checking out her facebook and as far back as June, she'd been posting on her status that she was confused and didn't know what to do - paranoia is know thinking it had gone on for longer than previously thought!! Oh well, tomorrow night I'm round my ma and pa's for tea, then daddy is taking me and mum to the pub and then Sunday we are spending a lazy day whilst he has the kids all day.
Still debating what college course to do - now have a choice of 4!
Can't wait to first week of sept!! Am going to move the rooms around and repaint. Out with the old - in with the new!!!!
