  • Do it Girl!!!! The more power you take back, the better you will feel! The other thing I was going to say Kizzy is if you are not already on Facebook....Get on it now! You will meet millions of friends you lost touch with, and millions of new friends that you haven't met yet! It's so much fun and you can play games chat, search for long lost people, see their profiles and their friends, and join discussions and groups. Every day people send your a virtual hug, or a drink or a funny story or video. Well maybe not millions...... but you know what I mean lol. I've managed to get 134 already, mostly family lol, but some guys I knew at school. Go on be a devil, I will send you my email and you can add me as your first friend xxxx

  • I've never fancied facebook, as a matter of fact a bloke cheated on his girlfriend on my husbands other ship & got caught out on facebook as the girl he cheated with, didn't know he already had a girlfriend!! They're all at it!

Sorry about your problems, maybe give him a little time, or maybe he is playing a game.. And as found another person and is trying to sort himself out.
That is the downside... But the way i would approach this is to try to have a chat with him outside the family home.. On your own meet, some place maybe in a public place is better.
Before you start running off to solicitors, they have a job to do and they do it for out they don’t have feeling for him so they go head and get what’s right for you and if you have children then no matter what they will have to do what they have to do..
For me mediation and talking is better just now let him talk it might just be a storm in a teacup but be prepared for the worst but hope for the best! things he might tell you may not like.
    Good luck

Although this is my first post, i have been following this thread for a few days. it's great that you are being so strong kizzy, i can't imagine how i'd cope if i was in your situation.
a family friend had her partner of 20 years leave her when she was 6 weeks pregnant with the 3rd child HE wanted, for another woman.
at first she used to let him in the house, but he used to be so nasty to her and put her down. the children didn't take the break up too well and didn't like the new woman so would often refuse to go. the family friend tried to stay neutral and wouldn't say anything bad about him infront of the kids, but he would accuse her of poisioning the children against him. in the end she took his front door key from him as he was acting like he still had free range of the house, even though she had brought him out (at full market value!)
he pays just £300 a month towards the 3 children. yet he expects her to continue to pay for after school hobbies like karate which is £45 a month for the oldest son. she feels that the children shouldn't miss out. when she spoke to CSA they told her that she was lucky to get that much and if she put a claim in she could end up with less. this was because he's self employed and what he states his earning to be are actually lower than what they are. to help cover the mortgage, my sister rents a room from her and she also has forign students. he has the children on wednesday's after school and every other weekend.

although he says he'll pay the mortgage, please bear in mind that doesn't mean he will, especially when he realises how sh*te it'll be on so little money.

You know what that doesn't matter, its how you look to him that matters and a certain extent how the kids see you around him. You did brilliantly today you really did.

    My thoughts exactly!
  • He has now text me - anything DD wants? So said can't think of anything.
Then he's phoned me to say he's seen some lil' loveables if she wants them!
What is it with him, now he won't leave me alone, yesterday he was ignoring me!

1st time poster on here but long time lurker like all the rest, lol :D

He now won't leave you alone because he can see that you're coping. Carry on what you're doing and if you have to text him back, leave it a couple of hours at least. Trust me, it'll drive him mad.

You are in the driving seat now so don't forget it. From what I've read you're an amazing person and deserve, and will find, a lovely bloke to make you happy, when you're ready of course.

    Hugs x

    Kizzy

He's told you where he stands. Although he was a coward about the way he told you, it takes a certain amount of hardness and cruelty to say that to a partner, especially as he mentioned the other woman. Its time for you to get angry, get mean and stop being treated like a doormat. He's still doing it to you. You should ignore his texts and phone calls. He's not concerned about the children or he wouldn't have said such things in front of them. He has been cruel to you. Don't play his games. Its almost as if he's enjoying rejecting you. Its time to reject him and his rubbishy presents. Get someone else to help you out with man jobs and restrict his access to the children who he has shown no consideration for. Let your anger rule.

Ignore the next text Kizzy. Turn off the phone if you have to - let him sweat and wait for a while. Speak to him tomorrow if you have to, but not again today.
Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:

If you can manage it, ignore him. Let him be the one waiting for a text for a change...
