glad you had a good experiance. As you said, this is not a tin pot company so i was dissapointed to receive a tin pot service. All i am saying is that i do not think that waiting over 1 hour for your car to be delivered to you whilst standing in the freezing cold is acceptable. There were at least 3 other couples with me who suffered tghe same experiance. When i complained the response was very negative.0

Hi I have never parked my car at the airport before and would appreciate some advice. We have always taken a taxi but far too expensive this time. Any tips or discount codes would be greatly appreciated.
I havent a clue where to go - We are going on hols for 2 weeks (how much am I likely to pay)?
Many thanks
I will be using them again this year and have just been checking prices, looks like booking through egg is the best option at the moment, its a matter of shopping around im afraid.
Ive just been quoted £57.38 for 17 days through egg and £65.02 by virgin for the same carpark!!! cant remember how much we paid last year for 14 days.
Any other suggestions for cheap parking?BARGAINADDICT

SallyD wrote:I am sorry you had a bad experience with Purple Parking Meet & Greet. I have used them many times at Heathrow and am always more than happy with their service - even more so when their half price codes work. It is not a tin-pot operation it is huge and very secure. I have not redeemed Tesco points so cannot comment on that.
Has anyone had experience recently with them at Heathrow for the park and ride option. The concenr i have is that I am travelling with two youngsters (less than 4 including 1 at 6 months) and as such our luggage is 9 pieces including 4 suitcases. What size are the buses that transport you to and from the airport terminal and how frequent are they ie will they carry on waiting for others or leave on time in accordance with the instructions when i book?
Please let me know as I dont want to book if they dont have a decent rep!Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -
Used them twice last year, and would not park any other way now. The ease with a small child is worth the extra cos in itself!
p.s. anyone got any codes for purple at the moment?0 -

For three days parking I don't think you will find a cheaper quote than £20. Just check out the company you're using to make sure they will look after the car properly whilst they have it.

Used them (Purple Parking) beginning of Jan at Heathrow. The buses are mini-buses which tow along boxes (sorry don't know proper name for them!) which they put the suitcases in, plenty of room.
Very efficient service, although we did wait half an hour at least to be collected from the bus stop on our return, which with young children would have been tiresome.0 -
