We just stayed at the Acorn Lodge Hotel https://www.acornlodgegatwick.co.uk which is 5 mins from the airport and thoroughly recommended.
Very clean and comfortable and the staff are v.helpful and friendly, free transfers 24/7 and a cooked breakfast thrown in at £84 for a double room and 8 days parking.0 -

Hi Addy
Very good service from Mr. Robertson Stanstead he even provided us all with a lovely cold drink of bottled water (just what was needed) as we drove away. We'll certainly let friends know about him, as he requested.

Just returned from hols - used Pink Meet and Greet Ltd (not the same as Pink Elephant, I think). Great service - booked online, rang them 20 mins before we got to Gatwick, they met us there and picked up the car. They monitored our flight number on the way back and rang us - baggage was late, so they asked us to ring back when we had collected it and said they'd be outside before we were, and they were! Would definitely use them again. http://www.pink-meetandgreet.co.uk
At the time, the cost on their website was £35 for 5-9 days; by far the cheapest, even for a car park, never mind a meet & greet service. On their website they now have £35 for 7 days and £65 for 14 days, so that makes it a bit more expensive - don't know if you'd be able to negotiate a cost in-between for over 7 days but less than 14. (Website doesn't display properly with Firefox, BTW, so you might need to use a different browser to see the costs.) According to their website, they also cover Heathrow and Stansted.
Thanks to Tawneyowl for this tip. (Was dubious at first as so cheap)!
Tried them out last week while I went to Rhodes for a week from Gatwick. Very simple and excellent service. Booked over the phone, called the given mobile number 15 mins before arrival, met at the departures/car park set down area, courteously greeted by a man in Pink shirt who checked over the car for bumps and scrapes, signed a form, paid the £35.00 in cash (or you can pay by card if reservation completed on net booking), got in last night at 23.00, called the number while collecting baggage and the car was waiting outside in the same place as I set it down, with the Pink meet and greet man.
Unbelievable service at an unbelievable price, would definately use them again.0 -

Addy,
Would you be kind enough to forward the contact details for this gentleman please.

Myself and partner are flying from Heathrow to New York on 27 October, returning on 31 October. I got various quotes which were all pretty much around the £34 mark. I managed to find a code HERE for Purple Parking which reduced the price by 50%, making it £17 for 4 days. I also went through QuidCo and got 10% cash back. This space has been intentionally left blank0

Unfortunately, Bournemouth does not have a BCP and a stay of just over two weeks costs £80 to park at the airport. https://www.thomsonfly.com do some cracking deals from the airport but unfortunately it is in the middle of the New Forest and taxis want £50 each way from Southampton (Same price as going to Gatwick) - does anyone have any alternatives please?0
