Save Paper - Cancel your phone directories

Should we really be saving paper? If it is true that global warming is as bad as being suggested I suggest we need to start using more paper.

Trees absorb CO2 when they grow, that CO2 is then captured in the structure of the tree (the wood), this is them made into paper. The trees that were used to make paper are then replaced new ones. As long as that paper is not burnt the CO2 stays locked away. Surely we need to be using as much paper as possible.

Im a janitor in a council high rise.

Every time they dump 100 in the foyer. After a couple of days i take the rest to the recycling bins, normally in the region of 80!

If I could do a opt out form and get each person to sign it who doesnt want to get one that would be useful.

I might phone them and ask if I can do a standard letter which I can give to residents to sign and I can post them on in a one-er.
