I just got my new yellow pages and see that there are lots of money off vouchers inside. I'm using one at a local restaurant tonight, 10% off total bill inc drinks
- I'd check yours before chucking it away as you could be missing out on more money saving offers

Aside from being environmentally unfriendly, another angle worth considering is that when these large numbers of directories are given away on mass the public pay the disposal costs when we put them in the bin. I'd like to know what unwanted directories cost the public each year in landfill taxes, but I feel anything is too much. Commercial mailings should, if only for this reason, be based on opt-in lists where the receiver directly contacted the organisation who is posting the item.0

We cancelled ours earlier this year and when they did the doorstep drops we were missed - I was quite surprised the system had worked.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Although I kicked this off, I wasn't sure it would actually work. Yet today both next door neighbours had a new Yellow pages and I had nothing. Just now to see that it works for BT.0
