Thank you Altarf - this is an excellent idea and a great way to cut down on my paper waste and create more room on my bookshelf!
I have just cancelled all 3 :T
Now if only I can convince my OH to stop picking up an Argos book everytime one comes out :rolleyes:0 -
Thanks! Our flats get a massive stack just dumped outside, I keep meaning to take them to be recycled when I have access to a car. Will try to cancel for the whole building ......Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

As well as cancelling all these, don't forget that you can sign up to the Mailing Preference Service to reduce the amount of junk mail you get:
http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr/mps_choosetype.html
They also have a baby MPS service, which it is useful to know about if you, or someone you know, has lost a baby and wants to avoid getting mailings that may cause distress.
And of course, you can tick the box for 'no junk mail please' when signing up for services!0 -
Keep complaining to Oh that these are just a waste of paper as everything can be searched for online now. They should advertise the fact these can be cancelled if you don't need them I bet a lot of people would imagine how much paper could be saved.Mummy to two beautiful girls and one gorgeous boy.

Thanks for the information. I didn't know they could be cancelled. Never found them useful - just seems like a book full of adverts to me.:p
I just leave mine outside on the doorstep for weeks to remind myself to take them to the recycling centre some day.Mortgage started July 2010 = £223,314

It is not in their interests to do this. Their advertising rates are propped up by distribution figures. If they suffer a huge drop in the number of people receiving the directory then advertisers won't pay as much for featured listings in the directory. Result - loss of revenue. They should advertise the fact these can be cancelled0
