I just signed up for the iron on friday so i am looking forward to
trying it after reading all the reports on this thread it sounds very
good but I do not know what to expect or how complicated or easy
to use it might be.
I have only done one trial for buzz and was on tier 1 then after I
signed up to this trial I moved to tier 4 and a key sign so not sure
what that means other than getting early invites.
But looking forward to the iron trial anyway.
Wow you got moved from a tier 1 to a tier 4 for accepting a trial?! thats not right. you normally move down not up!!! how bizarre. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -

Personally, I think their scoring system is completely up the creek and I tend not to take any notice of it - being on a high tier certainly does not seem to lead to early invites from what people say, it seems totally random or linked to your profile, and also it sounds to be quite hard to use the golden key things if you get one! My scores move up and down totally at random as far as I can make out!A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion0 -
I emailed them asking why I had dropped from Tier 3 to tier 1 last week and they haven't bothered to reply to me?
Its nothing to do with dropping points when starting a new campaign as I have had 5 reports accepted for the iron so they have caught up with all my reports.
I really have no idea why lots of us are dropping down 2 or even 3 tiers
Hi ...
I have only been an agent since the Spring and have only been on 3 campaigns ... but it seems to me that the 'scoring' is based on an average of all your campaigns ...
For instance ... before my third campaign (the lovely iron) I was on Tier 3 I think ... but once I had signed up to the third campaign my scores were then divided by 3 not 2 and therefore my overall score went down ... Also after the initial sign up to a new campaign a -5 is applied to your quality score for a Bzz campaign without a report ... This obviously affects your overall score too ... However this is 'rectified' once you make an initial report to +10 I think ...
I hope this is of some help and will likely explain why many folks have seen their scores and overall Tiers drop ... If you want to view these figures for each campaign on your account ... Go to 'Upgrades' and click on the 'Tier' tab ... this will display your individual scores for each campaign and submission ...

Usually all bzz agent trials are free to participate in. This one is offering an iron worth £80-£100 for £20. Bzz agent explained to us that the charge is due to the high retail price of the item being tested.
Those who had an invite (myself included) were free to choose not to take part, but many of us have been thrilled with the deal and have chosen to pay the nominal £20 charge. This thread has become focussed on this latest trial as so many people have been keen to do it.
One of my friends received the invite 2-3 days ago but was totally skint, I paid for her iron for her - due to the fact I was so impressed with mine!

Thanks but when I took the iron campaign I went down as you normally do but then when I did my first report I went back up again so that was fine.
I has since done more reports and had them accepted and went up to Tier 3 which was also fine.
I logged in a day later and am now on Tier 1 ?
I totally understand that it is divided between how many campaigns we have done and also anything over a year old is taken off so thats how some of us have gone down but I went down a tier a couple of months ago because of the year old thing but this time I am totally confused ?

Morning,
I was just wondering if there was any news on getting your iron repaired, although I am very pleased with mine it would be great to know how Philips treat us as Bzz agents.
ThanksThanks for any help and advice given

Thanks
I have had to contact Phillips helpline as my lock for the steam isn't working and it is continued steam non stop, so I have a log number and I am taking it to my local repair shop as given by the helpline tomorrow to get it repaired F.O.C just had to give certain numbers on the back of the iron and my number that was on my buzz letter.:j They are very helpful as I wouldn't be without the iron now.0 -
