  • HMC - When I first used mine I had the same problem, turned out the heat setting was on the lowest which just spits out water, the dial seems to me to be 'upside down' from other irons which is my excuse for having it on the wrong setting!

    Hope that helps.

    hi
not sure i can ask here?
my ironing board gets soaked when using the iron
it is a normal metal board with a few holes in it
    covered with normal cover
i put the iron on table next to board
im not sure i will keep using it as i like to put clothes straight away and couldnt

i had to stop after 15 mins as was pointless
if i have to buy a new board its not a cheap
    piece of kit?

    help please
Hiya,i havent had this problem, but the proper ironing boards for these are like a mesh underneath the cover instead of solid so the steam passes through and if you look on the dial you have to use the iron past the wool setting tp properly use the steam or it doesnt work properly, only noticed myself recently.

I'm a little dismayed to see buzz plugging argos. Why?

These irons can be purchased cheaper elsewhere. I had a quick search and Amazon for one are cheaper by far!!

well its because they've obviously got some deal with them as some money off vouchers are for argos.

My mum got invited to trial the pressurised steam iron last Thursday and today DHL tried to deliver it whilst she was out. This is despite there still being no tracking number on her BzzAgent campaign page when she logs in!

When mine was delivered, the tracking number appeared the day before it arrived. So watch out, if you are expecting one it might just turn up out of the blue without necessarily a tracking number being advised.

Mine arrived today, without a tracking number having been given. Initially very pleased with the iron though.

We got a phone call this morning (at 8am:eek: ) from DHL to check if we would be home today. We were out for the day, so I've just picked up my iron from my in-laws. It seems very nice to use, and will speed up ironing, but its noisy, and its going to be hard to find somewhere to store it.
