It is just me or has anyone else found that their clothes have shrunk slightly? My hubby thinks I'm bonkers but any clothes that have been ironed with the new generator seem to be a litlte tighter than normal.

My Hubby is concerned as to how much more electricity is being used by the iron?
Anyone know?0 -

I have just noticed on my local freecycle this:
I have 5 vouchers that give £20 off a steam generator iron at Argos.
You can purchase any Philips model. They are restricted to Argos use
only and only redeemable against Philips.
I will not give all 5 to same person and i will post out if need be as
i dont think it is worth travelling to get these.
I know they are giving them away but that is not the idea of bzz either.
unless she creates a bzz with each of the people who wants one.
I love my iron and i am really sorry the people who wanted one couldn't get one because of the greedy people out there looking to make some money.
If they've bzzed people they know about it and noone wants the vouchers then whats the harm in giving them away to someone who might use them. id do the same if i were in that situation aswell. What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
I've just seen someone trying to sell the £20 vouchers on a buy it now for £9.99 on E bay. Now that makes me mad!
I really wanted to do this campaign. I'm a tier 3 agent with an early invite, a golden key and in top 100 agents but alas a singleton and clearly don't make the criteria! I've e mailed them and they say they're still sending out invites but that was ages ago and nothing yet.0 -

I am gobsmacked!!!
Greedy s*ds!!!
Couldn't believe it at first so just been on Ebay to check myself!!
Some are Buy it Now £9.99 and there's a couple of others doing Buy it Now for £2.00!
People have actually gone to the trouble of taking photos and are going to package them up and take them to a post box.....for TWO QUID (or 99p if they only sell them at their starting bid!!)???!!?!! And THEN Ebay and Paypal will deduct their extortionate fees from them!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Unbelievable!! :eek:0 -

i think theyd b allowed to give them on freecycle as long as they explained they r a bzz agent. in the past i have given my vouchers to ppl in the shops that r strangers and have put it in my bzz report and submitted it. the idea is to spread the word about the product so in a way they would b. i think its not the same as the ones who sell theyre products which is wrong.0 -
Has anyone else managed to brake the cord retaining clip yet:eek: .
So far, I have really loved the performance of my iron, but the only thing that has let it down it the cord holder. Compared to the rest of the unit, this part seems a bit flimsy. I was trying to tuck the cord into it last night (after whizzing through a pile of ironing) and the clip cracked a bit!
Maybe it was just me being heavy handedTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

I emailed them and asked if they were going to put a BZz report in for everyone who received one, the reply was she didn't know what i was on about.
She received them from her mother who works at a newspaper, they were left over from a promotion,,,, yeah rite..0 -
