Like I said I dont agree with it but no-one can tell them what to do with their iron as it is after all their Iron. Its a moral issue not a legal one.
The reason why a lot of us havent had the invite isnt down to these people its down to the fact that there are thousands and thousands of members and not as many irons, it would cost a fortune to provide us all with one. We just havent met the criteria that is required. If they were to blame then bzz would not do campaigns like this. We're blaming them for it as we are all ......off that we havent had an invite and want one.0 -
I do have one, and think it's great. Thats why I think members that really do what they are suppose to do get them.
Also I'm not so sure that it's not illegal as the box they come in has a big sticker on it saying it's not for resale. Thanks for any help and advice given

Well I have done my past trials and bzzed about them and not sold a thing on e-bay but I havent got one, but I'm single, I have only my own washing to deal with so I dont expect that I will be offered one as I cant imagine thats the criteria they are after.0

I understand what your saying and yes it is their property as they've paid their £20 but I do think we have every right to ask Bzz to try and put a stop to it.
I imagine Phillips have paid Bzz a lot of money to collate all the info in the Bzz's we enter and the whole point is that they want honest feedback and word of mouth advertising. They don't want their highly discounted irons going straight on e-bay and they don't want made up Bzz's or no Bzz's at all.
Suppose some of us have high moral standards and some don't, simple as that. I do and I would like to see the people who just want to make a fast buck thrown off of the Bzz scheme because they're just not playing fair in my opinion.:wave:0 -

For me I know they shouldnt be doing this but Phillips will not have made a loss on these, the £20 paid will be just be how its costs them to make it.
Whatever it sells for in the shops will be a massive mark up,so try not to worry about Phillips - they will survive.
I do again say that I think its appalling that they have done because I was one of the members that wanted one of these and couldnt!!!!
Now I know why :eek:If you dont ask you dont get!!0 -
If it sounds like I agree with them then I dont, It would be great if bzz could kick them off, it'll take more than a sticker that says 'not for resale' which has no legal standing anyway and just peels right off. You wouldnt have even noticed on my friends.0

Actually, it goes against the rules of Bzz that you agree to, when you sign up. Bzz refer to people who do this as 'pests' and work hard to get rid of them.
"What is a pest? A pest is an Agent that tries to take advantage of the BzzAgent system. They do this by creating multiple accounts, creating fake BzzReports, selling product on eBay and pulling other sneaky tricks to try to fake our system. The worse part is that these dishonest Agents can end up taking programme slots that honest BzzAgents could be occupying. To make things better for all sincere members of our community, we work hard to identify and remove all unscrupulous Agents." (from bzz FAQ)Most recent wins: IPad, Jamie Magazine yearbook, Links of London friendship bracelet, Baumatic ice cream machine! :j0 -

So are u saying that all us people that didn't get aren't doing what we are supposed to be doing. Most of us do what we are supposed to do also but we have not been invited so it's not really correct to say that members who do what they are supposed to do get one, that's just not true is it!
You were lucky to get one which is great but spare a thought for the ones that didn't through no fault of their own!!!!0
