I've just seen someone trying to sell the £20 vouchers on a buy it now for £9.99 on E bay. Now that makes me mad!
I really wanted to do this campaign. I'm a tier 3 agent with an early invite, a golden key and in top 100 agents but alas a singleton and clearly don't make the criteria! I've e mailed them and they say they're still sending out invites but that was ages ago and nothing yet.
I emailed one of thse sellers for a reply why are they selling them on ebay when they are clearly from their BZZ kit here is their reply:-
My friend gave them to me to sell for her, I've already got one of the irons so the vouchers are no good to me - I'd bought mine before she gave me the vouchers. The iron is really good, but I don't know anyone who's going to buy one in the near future, so I put them on here.
Yeh right!!!!0 -

mmmmmm.....
YEAH RIGHT....LIKELY STORY!!!!
Hopefully it'll all come back and bite each one of these greedy people in the bum one day!!
It is such a shame that Bzz will never be able to track these people and throw them off all trials in future!
These greedy b**gers have taken the places of people who really wanted to have this iron - and from reading this thread there are loads that wanted it but never got invited.
I'm lucky ... I got one and I love mine but I'd never in a million years have dreamt of doing what these people are doing!
I hope all those of you that genuinely wanted this trial end up getting invited!0 -
Did anyone have issues with DHL? Mine was shipped on 23rd but the tracking said unable to reach destination? Got a message that it will be with me today but I have to go to work now! Will they leave it with a neighbour?
Winky xRight now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -

Yes I would think so... many others on this thread have had theirs left with neighbours.
Are you very friendly with your neighbour? you could pop next door and mention it to them - they may keep an eye out for you.0 -
I mentioned in an earlier post that the cord reataining clip on my iron had cracked. I emailed Philips to see if they could send a replacement and got a rather disappointing response:
Dear Ms XXXXXXXX.
Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding you Philips Iron.
We were sorry to learn of the problems you are experiencing with your GC7220
We would like to reassure you that all Philips products undergo extensive testing prior to their introduction to ensure their quality and reliability and issues of this nature are extremely rare.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience you have experienced.
However I would advise that unfortunately we are unable to replace the part you have requested as we do not have this part available.
If the above information does not help you gain satisfaction with the Iron we would respectfully ask that you contact the Buzz Agent from whom you received the product from for trial to see if they would be able to assist you.
Should you require any further information please contact our Customer Care Centre (details below)-there weren't any details below! quoting customer reference number XXXXXXXX.
Kind regards,
Philips Customer Care.
I don't feel quite so positive about spreading W.O.M after thatTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -

i know what you mean if we spread the word and peeps buy them and it breaks how daft will we feel if phillips dont fix the item mmmmmmmm !:T I love MSE ! :j0 -
That's disgraceful from such a big company, I would email Bzz & ask for them to sort it out now. Hope you get it sorted soon though x2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

I think bzz should put an "agent code" on each voucher they send us. They could then keep track of whos selling them , and who actually passes them on. This would then prove that the legitimate Bzz's , do go on to try the products!James thinks worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere
If i help you...Please thank me! :beer:0 -
Well there is definitely something wrong with my iron!!
Only the lower half of the soleplate has steam coming out of it, it doesn't take the creases out of ANY clothes and water leaks like mad from the base (the water tank) ... so much so, I thought the whole thing might blow up!! I moved it and omg, there were puddles of water underneath it.
I phoned Philips and all I can say is bless them - and yes, I am being sarcastic!
The lady didn't seem to know anything about us doing this trial and said over and over that it would be difficult because I didn't have a receipt from when I purchased it ... I kept telling her that it was a product I was trialling from Bzz, but she kept throwing it back at me re not having a dated receipt.
Eventually she said I could send it to an address in Coventry for them to try repairing it ... anyway, I have contacted Bzz and they said they would pass it along to their Support Department and get back to me with help via email. Haven't heard anything as of yet but I hope they can sort something out.
Am not a happy bunny ...
Oh, and the lady at Philips asked me if I had dropped the iron on the floor ... shoulda told her I had been drop kicking it over the house .... gggrrr ... what a ridiculous thing to ask!! Told her if I had, then it would have been my fault and I would have said I had .... gggrrrr!!!0 -
That's awful about your iron.
It's got me a bit worried, now. Fair enough, we got them cheap, but under the proviso that we spread the word about them. If we are not entitled to have them repaired when they break, suddenly they are not such a bargain!
I have been blabbing to all my mates about how great they are (to the point that 2 have been out and bought them) I will feel a right tit if anything goes wrong with the irons and they get the same level of customer service we have had!Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0
