at first the guy on the till said they wouldn`t accept them, as the shop bit was the coop and not shell..... but i insisted they ring someone to check and hey presto i got my free petrol......
not happy that i really had to push to get them accepted though.....

I had to push to use mine as well. The man at the counter said "you can only use one at a time." So I pointed out if he read the back of the voucher it said voucher'S' and they could be used up to the value of £50. So he scrutinised the voucher and then put them all though, £32 worth. He looked very shocked, as I was getting a tank fall of petrol for free, he even asked where I got them from, I just said Shell wanted me test out the V-power fuel.

Ive been reading this thread for a day or 2 now and decided to sign up to the forum to post here (so hello there! :rotfl:)

after reading about the 2 tiered system that they have been using with the £10 vouchers i decided id get my moneys worth from the £2 vouchers i have left

for some reason i got about £100 worth of the £2 vouchers in my kit (along with the toy car and pen) and have handed some out to friends and family but still had about £60 worth of them left

    so after reading theese posts..........

i thought id share them out between me and the missus

we both drove to the local shell and the missus went to fill up first and put £52 worth of vpower diesel in her car

she went to pay and then waved me in

the idiot behind the counter would only take 1 voucher
i wouldnt mind but he even refused to read the Ts & Cs on the back where it says you can use upto £50 worth at a time

needless to say i was p'd off so ive got his bosses number and told he will be in tomorrow:mad:

im a regular customer at that garage too as i ALWAYS use Vpower petrol as my car is specificaly tuned for the higher octane fuel
