I have had no problems using my £2 vouchers - got 10 lots of £8 on a sheet. I have used £10 at a time (as my car only takes 25 litres and it is full) and no issues whatsoever, my bro also used £32 with no problems - guess it is down to the individual garages. :j
I did go to one shell garage whilst on the way to work and all their v-power diesel and petrol pumps had the 'out of use' yellow labels on them - guess that is one way of saying they do not accept the vouchers and it also means they will not be getting my custom again and I did use them most weeks.
I have not noticed a difference in mileage either and work is a 50 mile round trip daily!:eek:No buying toiletries challenge - possibly for most of 2011,2012,2013,2014,2015!
£1 in sealed pot for each UU (2011 135/500:D) 2012 have UU 130/400 (never realised I had a mini chemist under my bed!!!) :rotfl:2013 UU 156/350. 2014 UU 197/250 2015 UU 16/100

well.........
after getting really annoyed last night about not being allowed to use more than 1 voucher at a time ive just spent a total of 40mins on the phone to shells indian call center over 3 seperate calls
i was ringing them to confirm that i can use 25x£2 vouchers at a time (if thats what i wanted to do)
the 1st 2 calls the young ladys (altho trying to be as helpfull as possible) just didnt have a strong enough grasp of the english language to understand my question and i gave up said thanks and then redialed
on the 3rd attempt i got someone who spoke better english than me and it took a total of 5 mins for her to check the computer and confirm that ANY shell station in the country should except upto £50 of vouchers per transaction
she said the only reason its even limited to £50 is because above this limit the admin costs skyrocket so its a cost saving measure on shells part
so with this now confirmed i rang my local shell garage and spoke the the manager
he told me that it had been limited because someone turned up with about £150 of vouchers a van and a load of jerry cans and the cashier accepted them all and got into trouble
he took my number and said he would ring his area manager and ask what the situation is now
rung me back 10 mins later and said hes printing some staff notices out and i can come any time and use the vouchers and if the staff wont accept them tell them to ring him and he will sort it out there and then0 -

In view of the problems experienced by many, I show below a recent bzz report I submitted (sorry it is a bit long) but I felt this whole campaign has been a shambles and should not be tolerated without comment.
The report went as follows:-
I discussed this fuel with my husband and following the experience of my sister (please refer to my previous bzz report), my husband and I went to our local Shell Garage. My husband was not too keen to trial the fuel but after much discussion I convinced him to give it a go. As he drives in excess of 1000 miles per week - yes 1000 - he was probably an ideal candidate to review the product for both performance and efficiency. I can now confirm that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD EITHER OF US EVER CONSIDER USING SHELL OR THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN. Their reputation is now beyond repair in our eyes.
There has been no satisfaction or enjoyment of this product or service. Having filled our vehicle with £70 of fuel, we proceeded into the garage to pay for our purchase - it was our intention to use £36.00 of vouchers and cash for the remainder. On presenting the vouchers to the cashier, we were told that we could only redeem one £2.00 voucher. We confirmed to the cashier that this was incorrect as the vouchers clearly stated on the reverse that up to a maximum of £50 of vouchers could be used in a single transaction. The cashier then disputed this and told us that we could not use the vouchers as they did not have a name printed on them. We again disputed the need for this and asked to speak to the Manager. This request, at first was ignored and on asking again the cashier contacted the Manager on a mobile phone. After a lengthy conversation, the cashier told us the Manager had said that we could not use the vouchers. From the part of the conversation we could hear it was apparent that a number of people had used the vouchers in the past few weeks and they were fed up with them. I spoke to the cashier and insisted that I speak to the Manager myself and he again contact the Manager by mobile. During my conversation with the Manager, I was told by the Manager that I was a liar and that the vouchers had not been issued by Shell which I strongly disputed. I was then told that without my name being on the vouchers, it was clear that the vouchers were forged and that I was clearly attempting to steal fuel from them. I again argued strongly against these outrageous accusations and informed them that I had the required cash to pay for my fuel in full and this clearly showed that I was in no way attempting not to pay for my fuel correctly. After further discussion, my husband paid the full amount in cash and we left the garage but I am utterly disgusted to have been treated in such a manner - to have my good character slandered in this manner in front of other customers. I insist that this report is passed to Shell as this is totally unacceptable. I choose to take part in this campaign in good faith and have been treated appallingly throughout. I can certainly tell you that I will never use Shell Garages or their products ever again and I have every intention of informing other members of my family/friends of this incident. I would also ask for confirmation as to how I can claim back compensation for the cost of the fuel put into my vehicle as I normally do not use this product and, on this occasion did so in good faith.
In view of the above, I will not be submitting any further bzz reports on this product regardless of performance of the fuel. My time and good intentions have been too abused for me to continue any dialogue on this product.
Your urgent comments on the above would be most welcome:j Member Number 18 of the "100 free films in London in 2010" club:hello:0 -
I had problems too getting the £10 vouchers accepted at our local Shell station and complained to Bzzz. and received the following reply from them last week. No sign of the free vouchers mentioned yet.
Thanks very much for the information. We passed this along to Shell. Let us begin by thanking you for taking the time and effort to provide us with the location of the garage.
Let us assure you that we here at BzzAgent and our partners at Shell are concerned to hear of the experience that you had with the vouchers.
We would also like to offer our personal apology for the inconvenience caused and for the time it has taken for your query to be resolved.
With regards to your BzzAgent vouchers not being accepted at site, we regret that the reason for this was due to a late communication being issued to the Retailers regarding the campaign. Unfortunately, this in turn caused some confusion on site regarding the validity of these vouchers. Retailers have now been fully briefed and this should no longer be an issue.
As a further apology, you will be receiving an additional £20 Shell voucher.
Will see if the free £20 voucher arrives as promised.

Below is the pathetic response from Bzz:-
Hi BzzAgent destresserai- We're very sorry to hear that you're so disappointed by Shell V Power. Did you have some kind of incident at the station that has you so upset- or did you notice some kind of problem with your car? You didn't tell us anything about what happened to make you feel so strongly, so we can't address your problems. We are sorry for inconvenience, and we hope you'll have better luck with your next campaign. Thanks for Bzzing!
As this is far from being a satisfactory response from Bzz I have now formally lodged a complaint direct with Shell Customer Services and will wait and see what transpires. I am just so angry that I paid a premium amount for a fuel that I would not usually consider buying!:j Member Number 18 of the "100 free films in London in 2010" club:hello:0 -
