Single and in debt.

Hi all

Only just found thread, read up to p19 and really really have to go to bed now but wanted to say Oh Wow Can I Join Please?!! :j

32, starting to fix debt situation (not too drastic, just fed up with it), single for last 4 years and fed up with that too. Time restriction is a big factor for me as I work full time plus it's my final year of a part-time degree (it's all women on my course and at work lol), and I'm as shy as everybody else on here! Will be taking on the earlier challenge by 1. Confessing to male friend I'm interested in his newly single flatmate and see what info I can find out (ok rebound risk but no try, no win), and 2. doing my SOA to put up on here as a statement of intent!

It's so good to hear from others in similar situation - I feel very lucky in most areas of my life at present (love new job, love new house, love studying, have great friends) and don't want to be whinging, but there are times it feels very lonely to be doing EVERYTHING for myself, and times it feels kinda self-centred which isn't how I want to be.

I'll be reading p19 onwards tomorrow!

Hi all, REALLY need to sort myself out and do something! Seems like I have so many things that need sorting out, I don't know where to start! will definitely have to find the nerve to join one of these sites, it's a good confidence booster, but then again I just don't feel up to meeting anyone at the moment, and I don't want to waste someone's time. I need to lose weight, sort out my debts, then I can do something. I am my own worst enemy really! Am not hugely overweight, my debts are not too bad now, I just can't motivate myself. As you can see am having a down day today!
