Happy Birthday indeed!! :bdaycake: a virtual cake for us all to share and not gain any lbs!!!!
Glad everyone is having fun on the sites, it can be a good confidence boost that's for sure!
I did my first shop with my own money today (using amount allowed by my DMP) it was very liberating not having to sneak things into mums trolley. Spent £29.12 and got enough for me and DS for over 2 weeks meals0 -

Hi all, happy birthday Michelle, hope you had good day and well done on weight loss, am v jealous!
I weighed myself this morning and have put on 1lb, am very annoyed with myself, but I have been quite lazy this week, and have been eating lots of chocolate, so only myself to blame. I have done a healthy shop today, and will try to leave the car at home so fingers crossed for this week.
I had a good look at ok cupid and plenty of fish over the weekend, not sure what to do yet, but it was fun to look anyway! Need to think of a new challenge for myself for this week, will have to do something money saving I think, as I am earning pennies doing clicks and then spending pounds on books and chocolate!Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY _party_
Cricky sounds like everyone has been busy with the websites - brilliant guys
havent actually looked into any of them but they sound promising from what i have been reading on here
Spent the weekend at a family wedding and surprise surprise, I did get the - ooohhh it will be you soon!0 -
Thanks for all the Happy Birthday messages! I had a nice weekend - went to a waterpark to recapture my youth and had a couple of meals out - and somehow still managed to lose weight!
The trick to losing weight (at least in my experience) when eating out is to eat about half of what's on the plate. It's so difficult because meal sizes are massive in restaurants so I always apologise for leaving most of the meal, and tell them I have a small appetite. Maybe someone will get the message one day. A local pub does small appetite meals which I think is a fabulous idea.
Anyway, only 363 days to the big 3-0 so I'm going to make the most of officially being in the twenties!LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Happy Birthday
How's everyone doing? Sarah I used to spend a small fortune on books but our local market has a second hand market and I now but mybooks there for a pound each, they also have a car boot on a Sunday but I never seem to get up early enough to see whats available0 -
I know it is possible to get books cheaper, and I do order a few from amazon when it works out cheaper, but I do love browsing round bookshops, I can be there for hours! I have thought about doing a car boot sale, I have loads of stuff I can sell, but I have a problem motivating myself, I am just so lazy! Also, I do have a few things which I think I would get a fair bit more for on ebay, rather than a car boot sale. I might join the £10 a day thread in Sept, which may force me to do something.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0

Ooooo. Have just added my photo to the picture thread. It's not on the first page yet but will be soon. Actually slightly apprehensive about putting my photo on here. It's so easy just to stay anonymous!
As for the cheap books topic, I keep meaning to join a library but people keep giving / lending me books to read so have had no need to yet. Had a £10 waterstones voucher for my b'day so am REALLY looking forward to browsing round there for an hour this saturday. it's not often I go in because it's so expensive, but I just love the smell of all the new books.
Oh, and charity shops always have cheap books too.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

Had the estate agent round how thinks I would only break even on flat given current market and suggests renting it out.
Unsure what to do as would have to inform mortgage provider making mortgage more expensive and what if tenant defaults on payments is it really worth the hassle of renting when I could sell and go abroad with a clean slate? Too many decisions now0
