I'm out tonight to see Tings Tings at Brixton Academy and I can't wait!!! We're going to speedy noodle first (very cheap and probably very dodgy chinese) and then to the weatherspoons for cheap booze before going in there!!! :j

Hope everyone has fab Friday nights!!

Hi all - back from team bowling day. Did my pretending to be a sociable person but ended up with two people asking me why I wsn't being myself. These things are definitely off the list for me in future! Came last in the bowling by about 60 points (I even managed to bounce a ball into the next lane) and had at least 3 lanes full of strangers having a good old laugh at me.

Oh well! A weekend where I don't have to go out and can just lounge about and relax at home. BLISS!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've not been posting! I've been a busy girl ! I have managed to read most day's but not had chance to post.

Lula I'm glad things arre getting sorted with xbf. You've done brilliant to keep your head together through it all and hopefully now it will stop. If it doesn't at least now you've reported it you'll be able to ring police again straightaway if he does anything to cause you any unease! I'm sorry I've not been on to give you any advice. Part of it was that I didn't know the heck to say and also I seen you were getting lots of support from this fabby lot!

I must go to sleep, I'm going to Liverpool tomorrow, it's going to be a very long day I really should get some sleep!

... hope you all have a good weekend and I shall catch up next week :)

I had to just nip and say hi coz the longer I left it the harder it was getting to type again lol

I know! Woo hoo! Roll on the weekend! The results of our bowling day go into the company magazine so no doubt I'll be getting slagged senseless in a few weeks time over it. So, now wide awake wondering why I'm crap at bowling as well as everything else :o Oh well, at least the guys at work now know what I'm like at 'social' events and with any luck, I'll be able to get out of any other ones in future.

BGB - I find bowling really hit or miss for me. I'm either really good or else unbelievably bad.

And I don't think bowling is an essential life skill so if isn't your thing don't worry about it.

I am really really bad at playing pool. I hate if we are in the pub and someone suggests a game. I try and explain how bad I am but not one believes me so I end up looking completely foolish!! And I don't enjoy it as I know how carp I am!

I am good at pub quizzes though so always say yes to those!!!

Tings Tings was cancelled last night due to blooming power cut! We braved Weatherspoons for cheap booze (and believe me Brixton 'spoons is rough and then some) and I read another girl's mobile while she was texting a friend that there was a power cut so we headed over after our drinks and got the sad news. We went to a bar called Plan B which was pretty appropriate!

They say the gig is going to be rescheduled, I hope it is a date we can make!

At least it's over BGB - couldn't go bowling myself, it's thought of wearing shoes already worn by someone else thats makes me shudder (I think Sarah said something aloing the same lines, earlier in the thread)

Hope you're ok Lula & sorry it had to get that far that you had to go to the police.

Hello to everyone else - hope you're all ok ?

BGB don't be too hard on yourself, the last time we went bowling my sis got a strike she was jumping up and down like a loonatic, she really shouldn't have, she doesn't have a small chest and the lads in the next lane all rubber knecked to watch, I had to tell them she didn't get out much and make her sit down.

Hi all, it's been very quiet here for the last few days!

My cheque arrived yesterday:j I had been getting very stressed about it, it was some money that was owed to me (long story) but I wasn't sure how it was going to arrive, was obsessively checking online banking and sent several emails to chase it, it finally appeared through the post yesterday, so I will be able to clear my overdraft and add to my savings:j It arrived too late to put in the bank, so will have to rush to pay it in tomorrow or a few things are going to bounceicon9.gif I know it would be sensible to use it to pay my cc bill but I am plodding along with that and should be clear in the next few months.

When the cheque clears I will technically be debt free as I will have more in savings than I owe.:D Won't count myself as debt free until everything is paid off though.

Have spent most of the weekend being very lazy, have been doing my get it done list which mostly consists of tidying, and then lounging around reading. Weighed myself this morning and haven't lost anything again (all my own fault) but haven't gained either. Will I ever get those jeans:mad: As usual I am starting the diet again tomorrow.

Have realised that my breakdown cover runs out at the end of the month so am very pleased as although it means spending some money icon9.gif it also means I can go through quidco:j I have £111 pending and have just ordered a £10 amazon voucher through pigsback so am having a good weekend moneywise. :j

Hope everyone has had a good weekend, am enjoying a glass of wine and the radio before the week begins again xxx
