Just to let all you lovely caring people know ... I've sent an email to xbf's mother just letting her know that he's behaving strangely & that if it continues I will contact the police.

I dont want to dump this on her but do wonder if there's a very good reason why she lets him live at home still & it was her wanting the stupid aerial that sparked all this off again  I hadnt heard from him for months before that

    Well done Lula

It does make me wonder whether his desire for control over you stems from her having control over him?

Oooh - I've gone rather 'self helpy' tonight! :rotfl: Not my usual style!

I've never had anyone that obssessed about me either, probably cos i make it clear it's best to stay away.

That's what makes it so bizarre eco - I'm a very straight talking, no word-mincing feisty female that can handle herself thank you when it comes to undesired attention ... I think he got confused when I was such a mess after losing my mum, even I didnt know who I was for a while ... but I am back now, braver, stronger & bigger :o :rotfl:

There are one or two people at work that I get on with - I went round to the house of one who was having a Bollywood night which was good (kids on their best behaviour too and out the way so they adults could have fun!). It was a good night, but I always felt really out of place. I've always felt out of place in life. I can't put my finger on it, but I've always felt that I never fitted in or that noone ever wanted me around. Speaking to my Aunt in Australia recently, she was amazed that I'd never had a boyfriend an said that I need to get out more, but I'm not into that whole drinking, dressing-up, going to nightclubs thing. I feel really uncomfortable being around people who are drinking, and tend to avoid it if at all possible. So many people suggest that I go to clubs and stuff and I'll meet people there, but I don't drink, and don't really want to just try and bump into someone who does. I'm not into that whole cattle market thing.

God, that's just reminded me, I have a 'team building' bowling day on Friday coming up. Oh crap. Lunch then onto a bowling place while I watch all the guys (and my team is all guys) get drunk and loud. Home by 4pm for me on Friday then! At least I'm off Monday - Wednesday. Going to the Liverpool game on Tuesday evening and having a wee overnight stay in Liverpool before mooching up the M6 at a leisurely pace on the Wednesday stopping off at a few places along the way. Thursday and Friday morning I'll be in work and by Friday afternoon trying to find excuses to get away from the drunken bowlers!

Jeeeez, anyone know a way of fast-forwarding to next week!?

Lula - you've been very kind to that guy in having his Mum speak nicely to him to try and sort him out. Some people would just go straight to the Police (I'd be one of them!) so you're definitely giving him a suitable warning to sort himself out!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

I know, it's such a huge thing to happen & I really feel that he took advantage when i was so vulnerable, & said some truly awful things which I've never forgotten so there's no way I'm taking any more of his !!!!!!

How are you coping with your other recent loss, guess its not quite as intesnt as losing your mum, but just not right when it's one of your peers :(
take care of yourself & if you ever need a private chat ...
