    Hi All,
just dropping in for a quick one, sorry I've not posted recently had some really bad news a fortnight ago, and it made me a bit depressed but I'm feeling better now, so will be posting more.

    Hey eco,

You'll be pleased to hear I've returned to my allotment - you guilted me into it by saying about your gardening :o & gathered 4 leeks ( well, size wise they were more like spring onions  ) but as we all know; size doesnt matter :D

    Hello everyone else, gotta fly

    love to all

mags glad your feeling better, i don't go near hospitals unless it's visiting as I'm a wimp at pain, so well done.
Welcome Bumblebee, pop in any old time for a chat,

 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.

I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long :(

Thanks Lula, sometimes I need to get used to things before I talk about them, I just didn't think it would hit me this hard, but like you say it helps to get out and do a bit of physical work in the garden, so I'll be out Saturday sorting my flower beds, if only I'd wrote down what bulbs i'd planted and where, but I suppose it will be a surprise when they flower.

I completely understand needing time to get your head round that, it's very personal & this is a public place so dont feel you have to divulge everything ( like i do sometimes & really shouldnt :o ) just want you to know that if you need to chat/offload then you can pm me. Losing someone can often reopen wounds of previous losses.

Hmm, I know just what you mean about bulbs, mine like to sneak upon me to the extent I'm convinced someone moves them around when I'm not looking  . You could always plant something in memory of your friend, I have a lilac tree in mine that my mum gave me & it was comforting last year to see it starting to bud again after the winter. She loved sunflowers so i'm going to try to get some of those growing this year ; bluddy great big ones :D

That sucks eco, have some big, manly hugs from me... *hugs*

Random planting schemes are the best, some people spend weeks worrying about where to plant everything to give the best effect/look nicest etc blah blah blah yet the traditional "cottage garden" which IMO looks the best is almost completely random.

Thanks Lula I felt better today at work, feel I'm getting my head round this one now, I have my mums raspberry canes in my garden, there the easiest fruit to grow, which is probably why she had them, I like to grow those smaller sunflowers, I forget the name but you see some in a dark red colour, and have row of them till my sis starts knicking them cos she reckons they will look good in her house, and every year I say I'm going to split the clumps of bulbs and never do, then wonder every spring why I didn't this year I will, but my winter garlic, shallots and onions are coming along nicely.
