    thanks eco & barry's lass :A

re the chip - I had one repaired FOC through autoglass via my insurance co. before christmas... this one however, is a biggie & right in my line of vision & the website says it need to be less than 10mm if in that place. It also has lines coming out from the centre  but anyway will measure up tomorrow & ring autoglass to see what they say

Re ashes - I really feel for you there barrys-lass, lost my mum nearly 2 years ago & just getting around to discussing the ashes with my dad & sis. We're thinking of maybe burying them with a newly planted tree in a local country park she loved & we all visit. I think what you've done is a lovely idea :) if it was just my decision I would probably do that.

    hugs to you too hon
    xx

If you saw one of the lads singing today, can't remember the title of the song but it goes, can't live if living is without you, he was singing that loud and on his knees he nearly collapsed, well I thought it was funny.

Thank you everyone, I've drunk enough SOCO tonight to knock a rhino out so I'm off to sleep now, but thank you everyone x.

Hehe, that song is a classic, I can imagine what he sounded like!

    Sleep tight x

Grrrr  I hate it when things like that all come along at once. How annoying. Feel your pain on the car thing, it's never cheap with a car and always feels like such a big waste. Do you know yet when the second job starts?

Yes, you know all about car pain too dont you :grouphug: .

I keep meaning to update my Quest but so busy being a DFW socialite I never get around to it :o anyway, I finally got the call to say new jobby starts next tuesday :j which is very timely as my hours for j!!! have dwindled to less than half that of 6 months ago as has my income  & as of next week I'll only be doing 3 days a week. Obviously wont get paid for j!!! for a couple of weeks so could really do without paying for excess on new windscreen - £70  that's nearly a quarter of the clothes allowance

How's the detox today, I'm still steering clear of all carbs apart from those included in hobnobs :o :rotfl:

Failed, but in a nice way as it involved a box of chocs:D will start again tomorrow, don't know if I can stick it much longer but when it's done I will definitely try to avoid carbs as when I do it really does work.

There's an insurance company over here who will replace your windscreen as many times as you need FOC and without scrapping your NCB...

Thanks, i love to drive but think woollabulloo is a bit too far, think of the mileage  I have my NCB protected anyway so that wouldnt be a prob, just annoying as the windscreen doesnt really do anything to make the car go

Sarah - nice way to fail :D we've proved we can be a bit snesible so maybe just cut out most of the carbs for a while. I am still only having one coffee a day & think that's done me good so will try to keep that up & I'm really enjoying the salads for supper everynight - can get quite creative when I try. Also seem to be less washing up

oooh phone is fine - appears the front just came dislodged so I've pushed it down really hard & it clicked & the button seems fine yay :)

Grrr to first job:mad: On the plus side all the walking with the second job will mean fitting into your clothes in no time and still eat all the hobnobs you want;) Hope the first job hours is only a temporary thing or you can find something else that fits in with working at home. Hope this doesn't sound patronising as I know you are worried about your current financial situation but sometimes life works in mysterious ways, you may find the perfect opportunity comes along which you wouldn't have been able to take up had your first job still been full time.

Have decided that as detox is b*****ed for today I will have a nice glass of wine:D
