    Hi everyone!!

So, it's the...erm...afternoon after the night before, and what I lovely night I had! CM got here at 5pm (dead early, eh?!) just as I'd finished drying my hair, so as I'd been busy all day I'd not really had time to get nervous! He arrived with flowers (nice touch) then helped me cook dinner, then we went out to a nice quiet local pub for a few drinks before going back to mine for much snogging on the settee :D

He left at about 2.30am, so I reckon that one date actually counts as 2, which is just as well as I've just booked a lovely little B&B for us for next Saturday :p I must point out that although next Saturday is the 14th, this is not Valentine's day related - it's just that he's taking his daughter to his parent's for the week and his wife has asked if he can stay over on Saturday night as she wants to have some friends round (CM doesn't know that this will be her new fella, but I don't suppose he'd care either!)

We talked a lot last night about how to play this whole new relationship thing, and we agree that it's better to keep it to ourselves for now and if we're going strong in 3-4 months then we'll let his daughter know, then we can go public. We occasionally veered off into talking about things we can do with his daughter in summer, but we had to keep checking ourselves and reminding ourselves that we're supposed to be taking things slowly! I don't know... it didn't feel weird talking about plans for the summer, but we do have to be aware that while it's all new & exciting for us, there are some very real issues that need to be addressed. It's a difficult balance, but I think we'll be okay.

So, I was all :D last night, and I was even more :D this morning when I was able to fit into some jeans that I'd had to relegate to the back of the wardrobe before Christmas :T

Even having to pay £72 to renew my passport, and £170 for the car tax I'd completely forgotten about was not enough to make me

Oh, and Sarahb.... you and your bad influence has been at work again! Last night I wore my new Clarks boots (great bargain at £35) and man alive they're comfy!! I also bought 2 new t-shirts yesterday, but only from Tesco and only cos they were 2 for £6! Last of the big spenders, eh?!!

Off to read the papers/drink loads of coffee now. Catch up with y'all later...
£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months
    Finally debt free!
