How very frustrating re the quidco claim - I completely understand the wine & doughnut combo now ;)

*casts mind over contents of shoedrobe*
black, brown, beige, pink, gold, blue, bronze, lepoard print, ...definitely no red .

*casts mind over contents of wardrobe & concludes that nothing in there would look good with red shoes, hope therefore extinguished & emergency hobnob deployed*

You folks do make me giggle :rotfl:

Re: Lula and Cup-a-Soups .. give Mug-Shots a go, its like a pot noddle in a cup but much healthier, I am having a write everything down week on my diet, rather depressing but I am on a mission as mum beat me to being under 14st and SC is rapidly catching me up (or is that down when you lose weight??) and I am certainly determined to not be beaten by him

I don't really have anything which goes with red shoes as until 2 weeks ago I didn't own any, now I have 2 pairs:o I don't think I have ever worn coloured shoes before, only sandals, as I prefer dark colours which will go with anything. However, the shoes are gorgeous and I do have some pink tops so I hope they will do. As SuSu got some and immediately bagged a man I will find a way to wear them:D

I hope emergency hob nob does the job, the wine is very comforting, am annoyed with myself for opening it but have only had one glass.

Am a bit annoyed that every time I am cross I immediately reach for food/drink. In the book SuSu recommended "Being Happy" it mentions that when you are a baby, most of your immediate needs are met with putting something in your mouth and this is why some of us continue to do it, we link food with needs being met. I must stop doing it. easier said than done though.

Hmmmm, interesting about the baby needs thing, that had never occurred to me... mind you, after a huge amount of years should I not have got over it by now  .

Please tell me I dont have to buy a dummy  cant bear them oh hang on...there are those lovely sour ones with sugar on that are available in different colours ... must find that sweet shop eco was on about.

Aha, sarah, we shall have dummies to match our red shoes :rotfl:

I've just checked out the weight watchers recipe thread :

    sarah - it's not for us :

no mention of pink wine, doughnuts, hobnobs, chcocolate
just veg, veg & more veg :(

We should stick to the red shoes & correctly sized jeans plan :D

Ossiereo - thanks for the tip, you should come out & play more often... even if you are losing more weight than [strike]both[/strike] all of us put together

well, the idea is that with some of us the subconcious link is very strong. I do think there is some truth in it, am too busy to think about it now, but will do some serious thinking during week off.

:rotfl: Excellent plan, can't think why that combination never occured to me before:D shall get on to the sweet shop immediately, it covers both the red shoes conundrum and the subconcious need to solve problems with rubbish food. :D

Our plan is much more convienient with the added bonus that it works immediately. I don't need any tips on watching my weight anyway, I watch it all the time. It may be going in the wrong direction, but it is under my watchful glare all the same.

May have to investigate the Atkins plan again, horribly boring but it does work. I currently have to choose skirts to wear based on the question does this make me look pregnant.

    Night night x
