an example - that bloke in demons on ITv pants show but I could not take my eyes off him!!!
and I have been known to do it in public as well.:o
I do it in public...............and carry it through as well!!! I "have" a younger man, affectionately known as "the Smoulderer", because its been bubbling away under the surface for over a year (wish I could sort it out, drives me barmy!), who is 6 years younger than me and yummy
I do feel that more than 10 years younger is the limit. My "adopted son" is 21 and says that he's going to get me drunk and get me to cop off with a fella more than 10 years younger, just for a laugh. Such a lovely child!! :rotfl:Smober since 05/12/2008 :j

Random single girl observation.
I seem to find myself really fancying males of about 25?
I don't quite know what has happened to me! I used to be a strictly over 35 type - not exactly strict, but it wouldn't enter my head to fancy some one younger then me. I just never looked in their direction?
lately I just seem to be looking at guys and thinking oooooooo and then realising how young they are!!!:o
is it something to do with getting older?
Hmmm. I am still a strictly over 35 type, I never look at someone who isn't 35-40 ish, am always sneakily checking the left hand of anyone I meet who fits the bill. Have always only looked at men older than me or no less than a couple of years younger.
Is this younger man fancying thing something I have to look forward to? Have racked my brains and can't think of anyone younger than me that I like.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
I have noticed exactly the same thing since I hit 30 I have become a dirty old woman. I think its like Makeup said its now OK to like younger men because they aren't really that young. Remember in our 30's us women are in the prime of our lives while the men are past it. Saying that though I was quite relieved to find out an actor who I have a major girly crush on is only 10 days younger than me."You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts" - Arthur Schlesinger

I will confess to a few years ago dating a guy who was just 21 when I was 31/32  When I was in my teens I was all about the older man .. then the ages levelled out a my exDH was just 2 months younger then me (of my over 2 year relationships from the age of 15 it was .... much older, year older, same age and year younger).
I did spend a lot of time playing an online game when I was going through my ill 'must hide at home' phase and was chatting to 18 to 20 something guys every night for 2 years so I always blamed my attraction to younger guys on that as many of them were darn gorgeous (and of course as they were mostly american my accent was a winner!). SC is actually 2 years older then me which is odd as in my mind I always envisaged a younger guy lol!

I reassure myself that the not boyfriend is 40 and I love him so I must be ok!!:rotfl:Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
This thread is making me smile because I used to be a toyboy myself up until my early 30s. I'm a bit old to be one these days at 51 though. I used to think that middle age spread was something that was put on sandwiches.
I know what you mean about fancying much younger people but I think it's regarded as more common for a man to be like that. When it comes down to it though - yes of course I have a strong sexual attraction to some much younger women but, trying not to be boring, what's the likelihood of having a viable longterm relationship with such an age gap. Also, although nice to look at, so many women in their 20s seem just not grown up enough. It might sound funny for a man to say this but I would much prefer to be with someone 40+ up to my own age. Then of course, there would always be someone who comes along and blows my views out of the water and ends up stealing my heart.0 -
I much prefer older men, although now I'm in my thirties, older men are actually not that much older than me really! I bypassed the whole teenage dating thing, and always like men who were around the same age I am now.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

Ooh, thank goodness, not just me then! I agree about older men not being that much older now, men in their forties who would have seemed old a few years ago are now in my age bracket:rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
another hands up for older men
i prefer the maturityand sorry but they need to also have salt and pepper hair
good example of not giving a toss about age is my friend she is 32 and got engaged to a 50 year old. the age difference has never ever bothered her and hes a gentlemanclass him as one of my closest friends.
 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.

Have just been doing my cleaning/tidying for the weekend before settling down with a book and I opened my wardrobe (never a good move without forward planning and an escape route) and a bottle of expensive bubble bath fell out of the toiletries stash on the top shelf, broke it two, and spilled everywhere.
Am very annoyed as it was expensive and it went all over the carpet. I have managed to soak most of it up, wasting a box of tissues in the process, but it had left a visible stain. Not sure whether to put water on it as I don't want it to start foaming up. Does anyone know how to get rid of the stain? On the plus side my room smells lovely and I have one less toiletry item to use up.:rolleyes:Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
