Hi all
:grouphug: for Mags and the 'oscopy... :j SuSu and the Complicated Man...
Have jeans, have red satin shoes but no sensible ones... ooooh but just remembered have some rather sexy red boots. With heels however, so perhaps not ideal for snow.
New guy at work still friendly, have been chatting quite a bit as we both work late... was dithering whether to do anything about it... then colleague turned up yesterday and in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES had managed to confirm that he's single, where he lives, and invite herself out for a walk with him. Now 1) why can't I do that, and 2) why I am I such a pathetic contrary female that now I think I should definitely have done something??!! (never mind, will wear v sexy outfits all next week and ensure I take up offer of help with new software. I may even wear sussies to work, will need extra fabulousness to deal with V-Day anyhow.)

Hello!!!
Lula - re the "nothing will go with red shoes" comment, well may I say "pish" to that?!!! Red shoes go with EVERYTHING!! Go on... get some!!! They're life enhancing, and every time you look down at your feet you'll feel a little "ooh!!!" I also have some pink sequinned slingbacks which I've had for years and dust them off and wear them maybe once a year, but ye gods they look fabulous with jeans!
Now, about these pre-Christmas jeans... I'd like to point out that while they fit, i.e. I can button and zip them up, they look best when I stand in heels with my hands above my head - as soon as I sit down I have a muffin top spewing out of the top of the waistband :rotfl: Will still wear them, though, but just not anywhere I might need to sit down!!
Not much to report for today/tonight. Kipped on & off today cos neck/shoulder's so blummin painful that lying down's the only way to be comfy. Propped myself up on several cushions with strategically placed heat pads and hot water bottles tonight while I stuck on the 3rd series of Prison Break, so 'twas a quiet night for SuSu.
Off to the pub tomorrow - the same one where I met CM last week. Going with the same pal I went with last week, and CM will be there, but as we're still "off radar" it will be a funny old afternoon I think  We'll be there to watch the footy then do a bit of light flirting over a game of pool. Looking forward to seeing him, and think it will be fun to be hands off for the evening
By the way Sarahb & Lula - you gals don't half make me larf!! Top fun reading your posts!! :T :rotfl: :T :rotfl:£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

May have to investigate the Atkins plan again, horribly boring but it does work.
Now I've never tried this, but the theory works... Assuming that all diets work best in their first week, would it work if you did:
Week 1 - Atkins diet
Week 2 - Cabbage soup diet
Week 3 - The Zone diet
Week 4 - Weightwatchers or similar
Sure It'd be a hideous month, but it could be a way to lose 15 pre-holiday pounds
Sarah - fancy being the team's guinea pig?!! :rotfl:£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Hmm. Which week do I fit the doughnuts in? Definitely not doing the cabbage soup diet after trying the watercress soup one, was disgusting, on the plus side the ensuing disaster of my first attempt means I have never forgotten to put the lid on the blender properly since.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Random single girl observation.
I seem to find myself really fancying males of about 25?
I don't quite know what has happened to me! I used to be a strictly over 35 type - not exactly strict, but it wouldn't enter my head to fancy some one younger then me. I just never looked in their direction?
lately I just seem to be looking at guys and thinking oooooooo and then realising how young they are!!!:o
is it something to do with getting older?Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

Oooh, ooooh, oooooh! I do this!! Never used to like the younger man, but now...........coooorrr! Love the younger men. I'm wondering if its because my mental age remains in its 20's while the real age creeps up through it's 30's? I've given myself a rule of no more than 10 years younger....
And, its my birthday in 2 weeks and I fully intend to see if I can get away with saying it's my 24th, not my 34th...!! :rotfl:Smober since 05/12/2008 :j

an example - that bloke in demons on ITv pants show but I could not take my eyes off him!!!
and I have been known to do it in public as well.:oNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Buffy - I think it is because as you get older the guys younger than you aren't really that young. So they aren't super immature etc.
I had a serious crush last year on someone who was born in the 80's
I keep doing that and pretending to myself that they are older than they are. This whole thing is compounded because I keep forgetting how old I amI keep thinking i'm 30 or 31 and not the true 33......
I had a fun day, I went to Destinations (a travel fair) yesterday morning. I signed up for 3 issues of Lonely Planet magazine for £1 and got a free book, called the travel book with a section on every country in the world with lovely pics.
My friend did have to ask if I had won the lottery as I have practically signed up for a trip to Jordan, a safari in Zambia, a trip to Iran and a rail holiday in Europe. Hmmmm, it just all looks so lovely!!!
Then we went out for dinner and then onto a few bars for drinks. However the dinner was on a special offer and I had vouchers for the bars for 30% off - we all put £20 into a kitty and we had money left over at the end of the night...so pretty good value!!!!
And I stuck to vodka so not feeling too bad!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Ha ha, I actually really like it (except the dodgy US accent from that guy off Ashes to Ashes). And agree, the young guy is lush.....thankfully his stroppy teenage act is putting me off!
I went to see Paolo Nutini at a gig a year or so ago and he is very lush!!!! And hopefully over 20??I've got my own flat :j:j
