    Hi all,

Have been away from computer for a few days and it's taken me a while to catch up on the thread:D
Hope everyone is okay and have something nice planned for the weekend?

Have tried to spend as little as possible this week - semi-successful but not too bad.

Still haven't spoken to payplan although they keep calling my mobile and leaving messages.....ah well...........will see how things go.

    Hello Eco,

Used love it when it snowed, where I lived when I was a kid was quite hilly, we didn't have sled's but used to get these huge big, plastic fertiliser bags fron the local farmer & use those - hours of fun.
Always think about signing up for NSD's but never do don't know why though, I've have had 14 this month.

 what a terrible thing to say eco, what on earth could possibly make you think I'd go easy on one of my fellow singletons  a previous post on this thread or the fact that i failed the NSD challenge this month :o;) .

Anyways, I had a great evening out with girly friends last night & the OF & DD got on fine although apparently she tried to dominate him :rotfl: dont know where she gets her attitude from

  • HBoS were the worst when I had debts with them. Despicable calls starting at 8 am and calling - at their worst - 17 times in one day. Eventually I switched the phone off. The letters I sent them recorded were never answered and the horrible 'Charlotte Gurnell' whose name was at the bottom of every letter was never contactable. So, she could contact me, tell me I was being taken to court, tell me to contact them, but whenever I wrote to her she would ignore me. Some people would even suggest that the names on the bottom of their letters are false (allegedly!)

Anyhoo, they agreed to give me back £4K of bank charges by 'close of business on Friday' after I'd submitted court papers, and on the Thursday night, some little twerp was phoning me up telling me I was going to be taken to court over being £16 overdrawn. After explaining to him about the £4K and the court papers, he said to me, "I have no record of this..............are you lying to me?" LYING?! LYING?! YOU'RE CALLING ME A LIAR??!!!!

I then let rip with the biggest verbal tirade I have ever given after politely asking, "Is this call being recorded for training purposes?" Once he said 'yes', I let rip. I was shaking with anger at their blinking cheek. I'd had to do all the running, I'd had to take them to court, I'd had to put up with the calls from them daily even during the time was Dad was lying in bed here just a few weeks before he died - his peace being completely disturbed by their constant calling and that little git called me a liar.

Anyway, they gave me my money, I closed my account, and I probably gave them the best recording to use in their customer training ever.

They have no communication between departments and their Collections team never know what the Customer Service team are doing, hence they don't seem to kow what agreements have been made and with who.

    A quite pathetic organisation.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

they are a nightmare and on the occasions i have answered the fone the line is dead no one is there. They are not going to get anymore money out of me as like everyone else i have to live and they are getting what i can afford.

its not as if this is new its now been two years and sometimes they never ever let up.

dont they know there is a credit crunch and have they forgotton if it wasnt for the goverment bailing them out where would they be now and as well for lloyds making a bid. thats soon all forgotton

thanks for your post. glad to know others are in the same position
