I know what your saying, I dont go to work crying "Im single". I laugh and joke with my mates as much as anyone else, but I do dread the prospect of going home, because thats where the reality lies. Its when your on your own, that your mind constantly tells you that you are. True im not prepared to pick anything up of the street for the sake of a companion. But as it stands currently, I cant even do that at the moment. Im not into these one night standers, (shocked me that there are women into that), and for the benefit of the ladies, yes there are some wackos out there. Just as there are wacko ladies too
.
But if we all go around worrying if people are wackos, being the way we are, nobody stands a chance in meeting anybody, fru fear, mistrust, insecurity, or financial situations. Its no wonder so many folk feel securer by being and remaining single.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Exactly. They must be out there somewhere. Like someone else said, I don't want the Mills and Boon thing, I just want someone who is kind and intelligent, who thinks I am important, I am ok at the moment, but I do get times when I start to panic that I have missed the boat, and that I have left it too late to have a family.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
I have been thinking about my "connection" bit of my challenge and teeersinheels has given me an idea.
I am going shopping on tuesday and my challenge will be to smile at 3 men and go have a drink on my own in the pub, so there.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

I think the most disappointing situation im in at the moment is, not wanting to settle down because of the worry of not being able to afford a relationship. Now i know using the affording a relationship sounds silly, but you have to do something in life together eh..holidays etc etc.. but know at this time i cant afford so am staying single til i can afford.
Yes, but other things are cheaper - bills, rent / mortgage, etc. Holidays can be walking and camping, or day trips....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I saw the worst case I've seen for ages today. Young girl (well bout 19), little vest top & short shorts, as pink as a lobster. OUCH!
DS and I are both very pale skinned (see my pic for DS!) so we slap on the factor 10,000 all the time....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I am fine most of the time, just sometimes have mini panic attacks, how will I sort this out, if he is out there then where is he, how much longer am I going to be by myself, am I always going to be single etc. I manage by myself quite well most of the time really, I like my own company but I do sometimes feel bored/lonely sometimes and I do want to meet someone. Am the oldest in my family and the only one who is single and childless, and I hate it.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
