i go on that site every day and enter the comps, I even do itunes through it sometimes, but think quidco would be better, I'd get the cash quicker, they don't do those 5p clicks that often these days, so that's not helping, how many points would I need for Waterstones?

It's 1150 points for a £10 voucher and 2300 for a £20 one. as soon as I get to £20 I'm leaving, in fact get to £20 on Pigsback is one of my 100 things to do as it's so difficult. Well done Michelle on your wins, I don't have the patience for the competitions every day but I've done a few, no luck there either!

    So i have 3 conclusions...

    1. He's just not that into me (like the book says)
    2. He's worried about our mutual friend finding out
    3. He's taking it slow

I think it's definitely number 3, you don't invite someone into bed if it's number 1, I don't think it's number 2 as although it is an awkward situation it's not really her concern and you are probably far more worried about that than he is, so it must be 3. Also if he liked your mutual friend in that way he wouldn't be inviting her friend into bed with him, so I think you can discount any worries there.

    Hi all

RMR I'd say 3 as well - either of the others would be sending major wrong signals and. So :j and keep us posted.

I've used Pigsback for a while and got a £10 voucher mainly by signing up to a few newsletters and things, but think it took over six months - I only check the site when they email me. I did try out the daily clicks stuff but for me it's the same problem as any other way of upping my income - time - I already have a full time (plus) job, a part time degree, an attempt at a soclial life, and would like to keep what sanity I have left. I know it's only supposed to take 15 mins/ day once you get it sorted but it wasn't working for me. And it's taken 3 months to unsubscribe from all the 'consent marketing' emails, so if you are going to do much with the click sites I'd suggest setting up an extra web mail account so it doesn't clog up your main personal one.

ShoeGal, you've said just what I have been thinking for the past few days - I get all gung-ho about debt busting, give myself some totally unrealistic target and then beat myself up when I miss it. Have decided I'm going to go back through my SOA and sort out a plan that is sensible and generous so I can actually have a life while paying things off, instead of being a miserable cow for the next two years. I have a birthday next month so think I'll try and make that a resolution point.

Sorry that's turned into a bit of a ramble!

    Rosa xx

RMR - HE INVITED YOU INTO HIS BED??!!!! Unless he has no heating and the house was a complete ice-box and he was close to hypothermia - otherwise it has to mean no.3! Plus as well he said see you in the week. It is always hard to judge what is going on at the beginning but this seems pretty hopeful! :j But just try and take thing as they come and don't analyse it too much ( of course I never take my own advice!! and analyse everything to death but feel I should say something sensible!)

Sarah et al - I know what you mean about Pigsback, I don't do that one but I do Onepoll. Which is a survey site, you check the site and fill in mini-surveys. You get 5p or 10p per survey. At first I thought this was brilliant but have been doing in for MONTHS and have got to about £19 but you have to get to £40 to get a payout. It is driving me insane!! I can't wait to get to £40 and then stop it!!!! In a way though it is better than the other surveys as you know what you are getting. I finally went through my 'points' on the other surveys and found out on quite a few that I have hardly anything worth taking out. Although think on one of them I'm close to a £20 voucher. One of the sites offers gifts rather than vouchers and they are all a bit rubbish!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

I'm going to go with a number 3 as well, people dont tend to just invite people to sleep on their sofa or come cuddle in bed for no reason! ... although my insecure side would of course be saying WHY DIDN'T HE TRY ANYTHING! so I do understand your thoughts hun. I would suggest just trying to go with the flow ... enjoy the company and let it take its own pace xx

I will admit to being hugely jealous of my US friend who has met what seems to be his ideal woman (even though there are some parts he would never have picked out previously, for example she is older then him and he has always dated much younger girls etc) and the bit that makes me jealous is that fact that the last few weeks they have spent purely just hanging out together, snuggled on sofa watching tv or laying on his bed talking for hours ... sometimes I think that sort of going it slow is what builds into much stronger relationships. Although maybe thats just my romantic side yearning for a novels worth of falling in love, swept of feet sort of deal ;)
  • Thank you all SO much. Yes, I suppose number 3 is the most likely, but that insecure side generally takes over in situations like this. Plus I'm not used to men not making a proper move on me if they like me, which is why I'm so unsure. I like the thought that he's being a gentleman though. Makes a real change.

I'm going to try and do something with this guy, and that's to take it as it comes like you all suggested. It's the advice I'd give to anyone else in my situation, and it's definitely the right thing to do. So I'm not going to over-think it (HA! - Yeah right) and I'm not going to arrange my life around him.

I will be the normal, sane, and not stalker-ish person that I usually am.

Now that sounds perfect! I do want all the being swept off my feet type thing, but the just hanging out and the talking for hours is what I really enjoy. Your friend's story just goes to show that for all the requirements we have for someone, sometimes it works with someone we just wouldn't expect. Hmm. Am jealous now. :D

    Hey everyone,

I've been very good this week end & have only bought a loaf of bread, as I have only £3  in my purse I'm hoping this will get me through to friday :rotfl: . I've been feeling really angry & fed up the last couple of days & snarling at everyone, anyone got any tips for reducing pmt symptons ? Went for a walk in the woods with DD & the OF and came to the conclusion that I dont want a man... I want a dog  . Been considering the idea for a while as DD could do with a companion & we both like walking & exploring & as far as I'm aware dogs never say the wrong thing  . We've been on the dogs trust website & of course we're now wondering how we're going to cope with the 300 or so that need homes. Not going to jump into this as obviously need to be a bit more stable financially & have the hol in august to get through first but it is a possibilty :)

Must go update my spending now but will be back in a bit :D
