SuSu's right changing habits can only be achieved in small chunks, I started last year with a weekly budget and when Iwent over it, it took weeks to get back on track cos I'd think sod it, I've failed this week, this year so far have decided I have to stick to it and made it a more realistic budget so I can't fail, and so far I haven't, if I haven't got the money it's tough, I'll have to think of something to get it. I will have a newer car and I will save for it.

It's a bit cold here and the suns out, you'd almost think spring had arrived early. I'll be back later.

Does anyone else use Pigsback for clicks? I have been a member for over a year now, still haven't managed to even get to £20! I haven't bought anything through it, just been doing the clicks/signing up for things, but even so:confused: It's driving me mad. Is it just me? Once I get to £20 I'm closing my account.

Had a bit of a financial "kick yourself" moment this week  I was looking at the T&Cs of the loan that I was planning to pay off in June. I presumed I'd have to pay 6 weeks interest to clear it early, but it seems I'd have to pay approx £250 per £1,000 borrowed, and on a £17,000 loan that's a LOT!!

 That's terrible! What a stupid rule! I didn't know banks were allowed to do that. Name and shame SuSu! Definitely best to let it run its course if they are going to make those charges. What a nuisance though:rolleyes:

Exactly! I signed up over a year ago thinking "this looks like an easy way to get some Boots vouchers" In the meantime I have discovered enough toiletries to have a mini Boots store right here, so am going for the Waterstones or John Lewis ones now.

Was thinking of just ordering some of the silly cheap things from their list just to use up the points and close my account, but I decided I don't need a key ring with a pig on it or a book on the history of pigs. I want the money! It's the principle of it! I need 90 more points and then I will never have to look at that silly piggy again!

i go on that site every day and enter the comps, I even do itunes through it sometimes, but think quidco would be better, I'd get the cash quicker, they don't do those 5p clicks that often these days, so that's not helping, how many points would I need for Waterstones?

  • Hello all. I've been out the last couple of days/nights so just caught up

Pigsback - I've been a member since Feb last year. I've so far ordered £70 worth of vouchers through winning the daily prize draws and doing racecaller. The answers and tips are all on the pigsback thread.

Flylady - Been a flutterer for about 6 months now and go through stages with it. Sometimes I'm completely motivated and other times not at all. I always feel a load better when I get on with it though.

Personal update now - Forbidden Man!! Well, where to start? I went over Fri night, and we had a lovely evening drinking wine and watching DVD's. We had a bit of a cuddle on the sofa but nothing else. So, I slept on his sofa and when i woke up the next morning figured that he can't be interested or he'd have made a proper move.

Then when he woke up he actually invited me into his bed!!! LOL it sounds so dodgy, but it was lovely. We just cuddled and talked, bliss!! He still didn't try and kiss me though. I left last night, with a hug and a 'see you in the week' and that was it.

    So i have 3 conclusions...

    1. He's just not that into me (like the book says)
    2. He's worried about our mutual friend finding out
    3. He's taking it slow

    AAARRRGGGHHHHHHHH

Not sure what to think. So have decided not to put myself through what I went through last year (getting my hopes up too quickly) so have decided that he doesn't want to take things further. Any opinions??

    Sorry for the rant...

    Hi RMR,

Never aplogise for a rant - that's what we're all here for on this thread, your sort virtual mates.

Personally I think it's No.3 on your list - try not to over analyse it, easy for me to say I know, wait & see what the outcome of his 'see you in the week' is.

I'm sure the others will be along shortly, with more indepth & useful comments than mine :rotfl:

ps. A "blokie" perspective would be useful but all the "boys" don't seem to have posted for a while
