However you asked Dial-a-phone to cancel it so it isn't as if you didn't do anything?! I suppose you should have made sure they did but really they should have got it right first time.
Yep stew was lovely, supposed to be beef&barley but didn't have any barley in the cupboard after all! Still I enjoyed it!.
Well it is a bit complicated, we are on good terms and see each other every so often but recently he has seemed a lot more keen and I think there is a chance that he is after a reconcilliation. I'm not sure, we had a difficult relationship when we were together. I think I will see what happens and how it all goes and take it from there.
Yip I did ask them and he told me he had done it on the computer so something has gone wrong somewhere
Thats the best idea to see what happens take each day as it comes.

Well just returned from the meeting with DS's teacher. He wanted me to complete a school medical referral. They are concerned about DSs' co-ordination, balance and also his self-esteem so they want him to be checked out to see if anything can help him out as academically he is top notch but physically he is struggling and it is a bit more then just being clumsy (which I thought was down to him being so big .. he is 8 years old adn already wears size 5 shoes for example!).
So I think I finally found the backlash of my last few years illness, something that is hard to explain really as you needed to see me back then to see how bad I was ... practically housebound, withdrawn from even DS, very snappy to full tears in minutes, so its only natural that some of his self-esteem issues are as a result of living in borderline fear/caution of me back when I was ill (he actually tells me how much he loves his new mummy and he use to be scared of the old mummywhich breaks my heart and also makes me want to kick my doctors a$$ to timbucktoo! ).
So onwards with new resolutions of taking DS out and about more and using SC for games of Rugby/Football etc which will help him a lot, also need to get him enroled for swimming this year. Hopefully with new improved mummy around + more physical activities + school help I can salvage this for him. Contemplating getting a little dog when we move to the new house (not very DFW though) but I know he misses the dogs we use to have which he grew up with and I think bonding with a dog will help him as well.0 -

Hey Hey Mags!! Great news!! :j Glad you've got your weekend off to a flying start!
Hi Ossireo, at least you know what the teacher wanted to see you about and already you have started thinking of ways of helping your son.
I'm sure a combination of professional help and getting older will help his co-ordination.
How about a less demanding pet to start off with like a hamster or guinea pig?
from your posts you really seem to be getting on top of things and making such great improvements - very inspirational!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! I'm gonna be chilling and trying to -tidy up my flat as well. I need a serious declutter!!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hi All :hello:
Sorry to sound miserable but I just need to moan!
What a rubbish week! Have been really busy at work so have worked really long hours. Despite being so busy another week has and done no exercise so have put a pound back on. Have also spent loads cos not planned meals - and cheered myself up with new underwear and a magazine! Doesn't look like I'm going to be able to pay £100.00 of my overdraft this month now.
gone by and nothing has been clarified about possible redundancies in my department. It's just hanging over me! That means I have eaten rubbish all week
I am really annoyed with myself, I can do much better than this!
So here's my list for next week - a copy and paste of last weeks!- lose 2lbs
- meal plan and stick to it
- 3 NSD's
- 3 exercise sessions
- sort out electricity bill
- organise work hours
Sorry for such a miserable postSometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Hi all
Shoe Gal - we are here to have our ears bent, you don't need to apologise. But you may need one of these :grouphug: .
Mags - :j  :j re. account, that's a worry done with!
Ossireo - :grouphug: for you as well, Makeup is right you're an inspiration.
Where have all the boys gone, have we scared them away?
Well I am tired and cross - and I have my advanced driving 'mock test' tomorrow and haven't had time to do any practice. I wanted to take a day off work this week and just couldn't fit it in. So probably not going to do brilliantly tomorrow but have decided to stop worrying about it and just turn up. I can always drop the idea if they say it's likely to take me another 3 months to get through the test, I have a lot on at the minute and it is only an extra.
Might pop in later but if it's after 11 you're to send me away!

Ossireo Rosa's right you are an inspiration I don't have kids but been an aunty I know it's not the easiest job which is why I've steered clear of it, about the dog I think it's a great idea, i have 2 and my jack russell is full of energy and great with kids, my neices and nephews love him.
I'm on a high tonight I will finish painting my stairs tomorrow, just a bit of glossing and touching up to do, and I've seen some lampshades in b & q I like, then I can start my bedroom, I've got to have all the painting done by Feb, I want to concentrate on gardening then.
Hope everyone's having a good night and a drink it's friday and we deserve it.0
