Hi everybody
I am at work!! Decided to come in for a few hours to see if I can catch up a bit, can't cope with another week like last week
Had to resort to eating chocolate though to keep me going
Have a good Saturday everybody
poor you having to go into work thats ashame
lets hope this coming week is a better one for you:mad: sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.
I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long0 -
I hate working on Saturday's the weekends short enough, I've finished painting and started to catch up on the cleaning, been scrubbing floors today, I was looking at my bare freshly painted walls and wondering what i could stick on them when I remembered some cross stich pictures I did years ago, 4 carousel horses 1 for each season, just got to frame 2 and get them on the wall, i used to do cross stitch when I had more time, might have to dig all my old suff out, might take my mind off spending money.0

Hi everybody
I'm trying really hard but I'm still fed up!
Went to work to try and catch up, was there four hours and probably only did about a third of what I hoped to do.Brought loads of stuff home but can't get motivated to do it.
I've ruined my budget this month, added it all up this afternoon. Will be lucky to survive until payday in 2 weeks without putting essentials on my credit card - there goes my plan to pay £100.00 off my overdraft! I'm really annoyed with myself  i've got nothing to show for this weeks spending except a couple of diet magazines - how ironic!

Hi all, am having another exciting Saurday night in:rolleyes: Am tidying, half watching tv and have a book to finish later. On the plus side have just won £2 on the lottery, will try not to spend it all at once:p Have had an NSD as well, have actually beaten my target for this month.
I feel so much better when everything is tidy but finding it hard to motivate myself. I love having a tidy room, makes me feel as if everything is coming together, but can't get down to it.Can anyone offer a motivational kick up the !!!!?

Hi Sarah
You always sound really motivated, don't think I'm gonna be much help there!
Just gonna watch Oceans 12, if Gorgeous George doesn't cheer me up nothing will :rotfl:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Sarah, have you tried Flylady.net yet? I'll admit I have been looking at it for weeks now and have only mastered shining my sink .. but am rather proud to have got into 1 routine at least. It is an extremely cheesy American site but it really does make you think about things. They have an ethos of doing things in little chunks of 15 minutes etc well worth a peek0

hah! Not really, I sound motivated, but I always struggle with the actual doing.
Have just remembered that I bought a bottle of perfume yesterday, which is against the rules in my sig. However, it was one I really wanted but didn't buy as it was £40, was going to buy it when stash had run out, but it was on sale for £20 so I couldn't resist.:o will save it for when the others have been used up.

Evening people!!
I'm just sat having a brew ! I've had the evening to myself so I've been tidying up and have spent far too much time on facebook...grrrr! DD is out with my sister so just waiting for a phonecall to go pick them up. I've a funny feeling they're gonna ring as soon as I get my felt tips and colouring book out! So trying to put it off for a bit.
I love saturday nights in tidying up coz I have my niece and nephew on a Sunday and if the house is tidy before they arrive I seem to be able to keep on top of it.
Sarah I have no tips as I just never have any motivation!
I have to do things in stages i.e I'll take the hoover out from under the stairs so it's there to do. Then next time I'm up I'll plug it in say if I go to the loo or something, and then however many mins/hours later I'll go put the kettle on and then do the hoovering quickly while the kettle boils !!
That hardly make sense as typing it out I realise it'd just be much simpler to get it out... plug it in and hoover all within 2 mins but I am just too lazy for that!
What did I say...Sister has just phoned so I'm going to go for a brew at our friends with her then take her and her kids home. DD is sleeping at friends house so I;ve just text non-boyfriend to see if he wants to stay over
Oh and I finally shaved me legs lol but still celibate (so far!) Thought lastnight was gonna be the night but we just played scrabble instead.. I enjoyed it, I am so sad!:rotfl:Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

I'm more of a Matt Damon fan, still I think most people fall into one of the 3 bands (Matt, George, Brad)0
