Hi there. Definitely not too late, you're only 30! No one should be "writing you off" anyway, but giving you the support to improve your lot. This thread will hopefully help.

All newcomers are welcome dollydumpling, your not the only one here who is "debt" free, but it seems were all single, some are happy being single, others arent so sure (me in particular). But everyone on this thread have so far been supportive, I owe each one of them a drink Im happy to know I am no longer lonely, because of this thread. All I need to do now is have the guts to ask one out

Isnt that via an internet dating site? It seems MSE is inadvertantly creating one of its own here I certainly dont want to have to pay a fee to an agency, solely to ask someone out Im all for paying for the evening, but why pay someone else to find me someone "they" regard is a perfect match?

Surely if two people are attracted to the point they think they "match", they dont need someone behind a desk to phone them and arrange a fee to meet.

Im not having a dig sarah honestly, I just think "why not cut out the middleman" use the fees to further treat the evening. thus the MSE golden rule of "money saving"

There are some free internet dating sites out there. Not sure of the names.

One that a friend of mine joined is mysinglebestfriend - i think they only charge one off fee for £20 - dont hold me to that but i'm sure thats all and you can chat to anyone you fancy

But I can do that on here "MINUS" the £20 fee. £20 is an extra round of drinks, the taxi fare home or the dessert after the meal. Why pay a middleman ANYTHING, if its not neccassery? ;)
