Yeah, why is it that people can go from relationship from relationship?[/quote]
I'd love to know the answer to that one, I always like a decent break between

    Hiya Pink Twirl.

Deep breath, just read some of the stuff on the other threads. Don't need that, it's not what we're here for.

Yeah, I made the mistake of posting a view that she didn't agree with, and instead of ignoring her I have retaliated. But she's got plain awful with it now. I'm just here on the boards to get debt busting tips and some nice chat to take my mind off it.

I won't be getting involved in any heavy debates again! :o

Ha, I've had no choice but to have a break! Nothing has come along and offered itself to me that I like :o

I notice you wrote about being more sociable. I'm not sure that's an issue. Being more SOCIAL might be more accurate. I know its hard on a budget, but be inventive. There are loads of clubs and societies out there that are begging for people to participate in loads of ways, and it won't cost a fortune.

I think it's a bit of both really, I'm sure I must come across to people as quite anti-social at times as I'm quite shy and I like my own company, but you are right, it is probably more accurate to say I need to be more social. So that will be number one on the 2009 resolutions list. Am determined to find something interesting and inexpensive and the university and colleges near me do lots of short courses. Hopefully this time next year I will be able to change a tyre or post in Spanish (or even better ,met someone who can):D

That's a #1 personal resolution and not the #1 financial resolution I hope!

Hi PinkTwirl, I read a lot on the other boards but I would never post there, there are too many people trolling or looking for arguments. There are lots of interesting threads on different boards but it's best to keep away from them if you are feeling down or a bit fragile as some posters tend to be quite forthright and opinionated, or just rude.

Just ignore it, some people like an argument and you can't win with them as the arguing is what they are there for. Hope you're feeling a bit calmer now and please don't feel you have to leave, we are nice on friendly on this board!

Pinkie: Sorry to hear that someone's being a nob, ignore em! They obvs don't have much of a life and get off by starting arguments on the internet. Here's a quote for you...

This internet dating milarky is a bit weird, I was MSN chatting with a guy, nice normal chat, exchanged mobile numbers and he sent me a picture text...............................Of him naked covering his bits with his hand
He text me 'now send me a pic of you'
so I replied 'no thanks your photo has put me off!' :rotfl:
