were all different i don't like lads who are too clingy, but i don't want someone who acts like they don't care that much either, i don't know if it's cos i'm in my 30's now but i think most lads think i must want to settle down straight away, i don't.

  • Hello!

Hey Pink, you're not the only one. I'm 31 and have been single fore 2 and a half years.

Sometimes it would be nice to have someone, even if it's just for arguing ha ha!

No, really, it can be boring.
  • Right good people, I'm off to bed.

Nice chatting with you all and I'll speak to you all soon.

Hello to anyone who's awake, am back from dullest night ever! I'm glad really, I don't know what I got so worked up about! But it has made me see that I really must go out more, I am fine at small talk and I am not going to meet anyone stuck in the house:rolleyes: I wasn't looking for anyone but it would be nice to be chatted up again, I miss that. Must get thinking cap on.

You are right PinkTwirl, sometimes being single is deathly boring. Don't need a relationship at the moment, but a weekend like Lula's would be nice;)

Michelle, am hoping you are right, I know when I get talking I'm usually ok. (Hope you're feeling better btw)

Do you know what? I've suddenly realised that for the last couple of months I've been in this little bubble and now that it's burst I feel SO free!

When I was with the guy I was worried about every tiny little thing and it was ruining my quality of life. Even to the point of not looking forward to christmas (which I LOVE!)

So I'm feeling much stronger today and even going to a wedding and not dreading it

Smug married person: Are you married?
    Me: Erm, no.
SMP: Do you have a boyfriend?
    Me: Erm, no.
SMP: Do you have any children.
    Me: Erm, no.
    SMP: Oh.

This made me laugh out loud. Very funny, and I bet most marrieds are secretly jealous of us eternal singletons anyway.

Hmmm... let's see if the quotes thing works...

  • Maybe sometimes I appear too eager.

What do women want? Someone who is keen (but not to the point of stalking obviously) or someone who doesn't give a s*** and just ignores all women hoping that the possibility if reverse psychology might work?

I don't know what all women want - only me. The thing that attracts me the most is someone with a quiet confidence - as in not at all cocky, but completely sure of themselves.

And once I've fallen for that person, the more I hear from them the better. But because they are living their lives, I tend not to which makes me want them all the more.

The guy who's got low confidence and chases me, bores me immediately and they stand no chance.

Because you are a nice person Lily! just don't do it again - let him call you and make sure you are too busy to talk to him for long.
