  • Hiya! :hello:

Just got back in from my aunty's. Went round for dinner and to pick up a scarf she'd knitted for me - my nephews (aged 3 and very nearly 5) LOVE Tom Baker as Dr Who so me and my aunty knitted them a stripey scarf each for Christmas - they're fab!! Also, as there was so much wool left, my aunty knitted another scarf for my brother...not sure if he'll wear it though :rotfl:

Not much else to report though. Just about to do some internet shopping for some Christmas jarmies for the same aunty, but thought I'd pop in and say hello first.

Oh, I've also had 2 mini Crunchies tonight. For no other reason than I'm a big pig :D

  • Hello!

I'm here, been pottering about. Had a no spending day today which was good plus I actually took some lunch today to work with me instead of just not eating, so feeling healthier today. :o
  • Bowski, to quote just press "quote" and write what you want underneath it, and press submit.

How horrible about the Crunchies! Hope you can still eat other types of chocolate.

Yay to similar mid life crises - now's good for me :D .

Thank you, that's a brilliant idea re the quidco / boots - have only recently got a card :o . How on earth are you managing not to use your quidco loot, well done for such restraint ;) . I have cashed in most of the survey loot but do plan to keep the quidco for fabby stuff. I need to buy a new printer, monitor & microwave at some point soonish & the contents insurance is due in January so I plan to build the quidco up until it's worth a real splurge :D . I've also decided to use the £2 savings for my secret spending too but :shhh: . I did have a clothes / fabby things allowance but what with christmas, a few weeks of below average wages & still not losing weight I've not bothered to put anything in ... but I'm starting again this week :D .

    * wonders if it would be rude to rush over to Boots grabbit thread in mid sentence ... *
  • Hooray, everyone's here!:j :j :j Secret thread worries unfounded! Crunchie deployed in error! :D

The best way to do it is to just read it for a week, it moves very fast but the people on there are brilliant and answer any questions. The first 2 posts have all the important information, but it's best to join where they are at and keep reading. They find some fabulous glitches, ie in the summer I got 6 really nice hair care products for 6p and a couple of weeks ago I got 4 nice boxes of chocolates for £4, should have been £20. (2 have mysteriously disappeared). Have had free nail files, nail polish, face wipes (got LOADS). It's fab.

  • Oh my god can I still eat other chocolate !!!!!!:D It's just that stuff...the smell of it...yuk!! I can't have nuts in chocolate either but thats not for an odd reason, just simply I don't like nuts and chocolate together.

Thanks re: quoting! I do remember now, I was told before but forgot :o Infact I hadn't even noticed the quote button at the bottom and I always forget about the thanks button... Do people use that?? I haven't used it in a very long time...I'm not sure if its standard or what?! God I sound so mean.

Evening susu , scarves sound fab! My sister knitted me a scarf the other year, I've prob wore it about twice, I'll have to dig it out now it's getting cold.
I don't know why though, I quite often go out without a coat on nevermind a scarf!! I've seen a gorgeous jacket I LOVE in Winfields but its £70 and I don't fit in it yet :( It does fasten up but it's like a straight jacket on me. There's no way on this earth I''m gonna spend £70 on a jacket so think I'll wait till after xmas , see if its in the sale ;) (by then hopefully I'll have lost some lbs!)

Hello pinktwirl...well done on your NSD and taking your dinner into work...you gotta eat lady!! :rolleyes2
