god I really should watch the news every once in a while instead of Hollyoaks!

Woolies ... NOOOooooooo and why cant I actually have some cash to make use of any bargains they may be selling off!!!
  • Hello pinktwirl...well done on your NSD and taking your dinner into work...you gotta eat lady!! :rolleyes2

:j yeah, I have been too lazy up until now. There is nothing around there to get anything from, and don't want big lunchy costs. I have made my lunch for tomorrow too! :j

Eating has been low on my list of things to do recently. :o

Thanks, wishing NSD to everyone else (if they can manage it!) :D
  • Yeah, I miss being able to get Five Live on the normal stereo. I used to put it on to sleep so I could lie in bed and listen to it as I doze off, but now I have to be awake so I can switch the computer off. Not ideal, specially as I've got work tomorrow, but better than now't.

I need a new car stereo - my CD player broke nearly 2 years ago, and as I go to Manchester every month (to see my now-famous soon-to-be scarf-wearing nephews!). I'd love to listen to audio books, but am not prepared to pay whatever it'd cost when I can usually find something on the radio. Will have to pretend it does work when I come to sell the car though ;)

No more pic 'n' mix :( I haven't had one for years but used to get them on Sundays, they were great!

I think I may have to go up to the one I went to as a child before it closes (if it closes/hasn't closed already)

I bought my first music from there - Kylie & Jason, Smash Hits 88 and T'Pau! Boo hoo.

Have you heard about MFI as well?? More bargains to be had there soon methinks.

  • SuSu...try looking on Freecycle for a new stereo. I don't blame you for not wanting to pay for a new stereo if you don't mind the radio.

Pinktwirl..well done on already making your dinner for tomorrow... it really can only do you good! There's many things I'm too lazy to do but eating just isn't one of them...unfotunately!!

I have terrible trouble sleeping some nights and Radio 5 is an absolute godsend. Love the 10-1 slot and also Up All Night on afterwards. And iplayer for anything I may have missed. Have never sent a message to them though, am too shy. Well done Su!

Oh Sarah, you should email/text in - I do it whenever I feel I have something to contribute! It's worth it for the odd occasion you do get a mention. It's the most excitement I get in my single and in debt life :rotfl:

    My thoughts exactly!!

Shocking about MFI too, our local one has only just been rebuilt after burning down last year.

I bought my first cd from Woolies aswell it was east17. I can't remember the title now but I remember listening to it on my new stereo and pausing it every 3rd word or something so I could write the words down lol My DD does that now bless her :)
