  • Slightly off topic, but I'm multi-tasking tonight...

I've just emailed Richard Bacon at Five Live!! Not about anything "important" and newsworthy - he just asked us to get in touch if we've met a famous person, specially if we have a photo. I have and I have!!!

Am v excited now, although a bit worried that I'm going to have to stay up till 1am on a school night cos I want to hear if I get read out :o

    Ok,

I've just skimmed the last 3 pages & I think I need to kick myself for not having a boots card before    .

I really do have to go to bed now as I need to be at boots by 9am tomorrow in case sale rumours are true - * sharpens elbows in readyness*

Never mind about the crunchie deploying error sarah, it's easily done & poor poor Bowski :( more for us though ;)

    night night girls :A

    Lula xx
  • He's great isn't he! I can only listen on my laptop now, though, as I can't get Five Live on my stereo since I moved to leafy Surrey. Hey ho.

I met (and I won't be offended if you don't know who this is)....Chris Kamara!!!

I emailed a pic of me and "Super Chris" to Richard Bacon - it brings back memories of a great night when I met my televisual sports hero. I look so happy!!

Yeah, I can only listen on my laptop. Can also listen again on iPlayer, but I prefer it live. They're on about Woolies at the mo. Shame it's closing down, but great if you want to bag some bargains! :T

I think I'll listen to it more often, I sit here everynight in silence apart from the odd bit of youtube. I just hate the tv being on but if I've not turned it off when DD goes to bed I end up leaving it on because I can't be bothered to get up to turn it off....yes I really am that Lazy!

When I was in Wakey the other week we met Chanelle off Big Brother and my mates got pic's taken with her coz they were starstruck. Celeb's don't do it for me...well unless it was Brandon Flowers

    Night Lula...Goodluck for tomorrow

  • I wouldn't know Chanelle if she ran up to me in the street and slapped me with a wet fish!! :rotfl:

I always have the radio on my pooter when I'm posting - don't like to watch too much telly (apart from Strictly, Corrie and Top Gear which are all must-sees for me). Not a telly snob at all, but there is quite a lot of carp TV out there. I much prefer the radio although I'm lost on Saturday nights since that Russell Brand fiasco (don't get me started on that, bl**dy Daily Mail readers ruining my weekend  )
