I text him on sunday night and had no reply, then i text him on Tuesday morning and had no reply.
So I'm not texting again and hopefully he won't contact me again so I can just get on with my life.
I absolutely hate finishing mith men, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed with this.
As for weight loss, well let's not go there right now. I'm in training for the great south run so food consumption is on the up with me. And I don't ever seem to lose weight through exercise, so will have to wait till it's over before I get back on the Weight watchers diet.
Pleased everyone else is doing well though. It really is a nice motivating thread this. Made me less concerned about being single again knowing it was here.
This may sound daft but I find it helps to eradicate all phone numbers and other methods of contacting (MSN etc) that way I don't get tempted to send that one more message, as I know what I am like
Good luck for the run, have every bit of admiration for you, I am so unfit I would struggle with a southern amble at the moment!
Totally agree with you about this thread and here is a dodgy hug to prove it! :grouphug:0 -
Luckily I was eating a small bar of Green and Black's and holding a glass of wine/diet lemonade when I discovered my mistake, so manage to do some quick comfort eating/drinking to calm myself.
This summoned such a vivid picture that I actually snorted with laughter .. god I am such a damn lady!!!0 -
What happened with your man? Surely its best to speak to him so you can get total closure and move on properly, otherwise he could text in a week or two and disrupt you?
No, he's not the type. He's a bit of a control freak. I like a challenge, but I don't want a fight every time I speak to him. And that's sort of how it was feeling.

Of course. You just keep getting the wrong ones. But put it this way, it only takes one person, the right one, to make you happy and give you everything you could ever want, so don't get too down. This other guy obviously didn't deserve you and he won't do better than you.0 -

Awww, thanks for the dodgy hug. Always wanted one of those
Yes i will delete his numbers and everything else very soon. Only reason for keeping them is in case he calls (slim chance, but he gets drunk most weekends so you never know) and then I want to be prepared knowing who it is.
Won't be tempted to text him at all. Once it's over in my mind that's it! I'm weird like that
I've just registered with plenty of fish so am happily chatting to lots of men at the moment. It really is fun, even if I do nothing about it

That is such a sweet thing to say. Nobody's going to have any confidence problems with you around
And yes, I am waiting for the right one, and in the meantime I have lovely people like you to cheer me up :jLBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

I alway cut men out completely. My friends have pointed out that from a bloke's point of view I can seen very cold and like I don't need anyone.
Even the guy who I am pinning (sp?) over now hung inspite of my distance and "lack of sharing" but eventually gave up then came back and then I had changed my mind but it was too late. timing is a funny thing.
any how I should go to bed.
see you all soon
